Florida's D Will Be Too Much

THey lost some games after injuries decimated them (Albert Young, etc). At least 5 starters I believe. But they should be healthy for their bowl game.

i have ben told many times this year injuries happen to everyone and they are not an excuse.Tennessee did not have Ainge and coker against LSU.We would have beaten LSU with them in there.So those are not good excuses,according to several posters.

Not only does Tennessee have 3 losses, but they beat a terrible AF team by 1 at home...UT sucks IMO...overrated because they play in the SEC.

Why does UF deserve it over Michigan?

Too tough of a call for me to make an argument for either side. I could come up with reasons to take both.

in response to the thread title i dont get what the florida D will be too much for?? just like the mich #1 run D that osu busted up maybe they will shut down pittman/wells, maybe too much for the heisman winner or the fastest guy on the planet ted ginn, no i know prob for gonzalez who has velcro for hands...smith will spread the ball all over the field and lead the bucks to the title im sorry florida but casey dick isnt takin the snaps when it counts, or a runnin back as qb for that matter

I'm not doing a Top 25 poll, I'm gave my opinion on which teams would be better than other teams RIGHT NOW.

well in football there are things called look ahead games.They had Florida the next week.They also faced the triple option which is tough to defent if you never see it.Hell they ran all over ND but could not score.

Why does Michigan deserve it over Florida? In my opinion they should have a 16 team playoff with team 1 playing 16 and so on. Play the games on the field and the losers go home with the winners moving on. Until that happens there will always be arguments.

Florida deserves it b/c they won one of the best conferences in the country.
