Oh this site is great. It should be changed from bettorschat. There is more arguing and bullshitting than anything. Not a whole lot of handicapping, but good humor though.I knew when I started this thread how it would evolve.
Florida,Tennessee,Arkansas,LSU.The numbers might not be as high because of the terrible defenses Ohio ST plays, and the good D in the SEC.WE will find out soon.
tell me your joking...tired of all this homerade being consumed
Personally, I don't care who thinks what conference is better and what not. But, since everyone else does, here goes. I'll take each team and rate them on a scale of 1 to 10. This will somewhat be based on who I think would beat who, aka a 6 would beat a 5 on a neutral field, etc.
Big 10
Ohio State 10
Michigan 9
Wisconsin 8.5
Penn State 7
Iowa 7
Purdue 6
Minnesota 6
Indiana 5.5
Northwestern 5
Mich St 4.5
Illinois 4.5
Total Points: 72
Average: 6.66
SEC
Florida 9
LSU 9
Arkansas 8
Auburn 8
Tennessee 7.5
Georgia 6
Kentucky 6
Alabama 5
S Car 5
Miss 4
Vandy 3.5
Miss St 3
Total: 74
Average: 6.17
Obviously, that's pretty damn close. You could give a lil more credit to the bottom 3 in the SEC, but I think Mich St and Illi would beat all of them more games than not on a neutral field. Same for Iowa beating Georgia and Kentucky.
He will be the heisman trophy winner when it comes Jan. 8th.. That has alot to do with it.. Heisman Trophy winners havent had the best of success in the past..
Obviously he will be the Hiesman trophy winner, but what Gino Torretta did in his bowl game has nothing to do with Troy Smith.
Why do you guys think Auburn and Arkansas are so good?
Auburn beat Florida and Arkansas beat Auburn and lost to Florida in the sec title game.. To make it to your title game ya gotta be somewhat good right?
