I actually think the Mets do get Livan. They were trying to get Jason Schmidt or Roy Oswalt for Miledge and Pelfrey.

They would NEVER trade both of those guys for either one of them...at least I hope not. I have no issue with then giving up Milledge for Zito or Oswalt. I have issues with them giving him up for anyone else. I don't think anyone else is worth it. That is why I like Livan...he is cheaper....and a change of scenery, plus his brother on the team, will do him good!

really i heard on espn radio about 1hr ago that astros front office doesnt want lidge anymore. I bet they option him to the minors.

Of course you would, so would I...but it is the price tag that you have to consider. If it is Milledge AND Pelfrey, I don't care who it is you do not make the trade. Livan won't cost a Milledge or Pelfrey.
