with all due respect---this shouldn't be a thing about being "slow" it is a relevant fact that these threads cause trouble and they do more harm than good. If a forum---(GAMBLING) (SPORTS) forum is slow do we revert to other venues----I guess in this case we do. I have kind of seen some points here and where some good debates have come into fruition.....BUT I still think on Bettorschat the main focus is sports and not politics because we are slow....Once again---I mean no harm---call me a pussy or whatever this is my opinion and there are so many things going on in the sports world that we don't need politics as the focal point night after night after night!!!

I am actually getting into some of the politics here--I believe Kaz said it keeps him up to date on things---YEP that is great but pissing contests shouldn't RULE this forum---

the problem with what you are saying is, people have certain beliefs and they just don't change. same with religion, people aren't going to say "good point, i am going to switch religions". how many times does it happen in a sports dispute? not very often. how many times does someone disagree with someones picks and that person tells them to stay out of their thread and mods will say "if you don't have something good to say, don't say it". sports forums would be more ugly if people were allowed to post negative things about peoples plays. i don't have a problem with people disagreeing with anything as long as there's no name calling and personal insults, way too many people in every forum have thin skins.

I'm with you chunger. It gets so f-ing annoying watching the same people bump threads hour after hour and minute after minute fighting about the same shit over and over and over and over and over again. I hate it to be honest. The arguments NEVER change and neither do the people arguing. I used to be all for the forum but now it just annoys the fuck out of me!
