whatever section i go to at a site the most i save on my favorites list, i click on it and i am there. if i want to go to another section a click on that section. there is absolutely no reason to go to a section you don't want to. i really don't understand the problem.

I will say this husker, people here want to see the latest topics related to sports and gambling and they want to see the most recent/active ones that get bumped to the main page without running around all the forums. By variety i mean variety related to sports and gambling. You have Sports services that give free picks, all sports that is sports related, members picks which is picks, Polls for games or sports topics in the polls forum, pools for different sports, offshore betting/poker sites for gambling, fade factors for gambling, lucky 15 pool forum, horse and dog for gambling.

That is 9 forums related to sports and gambling and that is variety. People don't want to jump around to 9 forums to see what is going on when they can sit on the main page and see all the active topics. Now, when the front page is covered with politics, it bumps everything from those 9 forums off the main page and frustrates the hell out of the person here for sports & gambling. If you don't understand that, i can't explain it any better.

If someone doesn't agree with you and has their own thoughts, you swear they are a brainwashed republican who blames obama for everything or they got their ideas from some republican tv, radio, paper, etc. You accuse people of being "brainwashed" when they don't agree with you when it is YOU (there are those damn caps again) who is the "brainwashed" one. it would take me 10 seconds to check those 9 sections individually.

if there's not enough traffic, i would combine all them like it used to be here, one all sports discussion. it would probably increase traffic here also.

the only reason I come to the rants section is because people actually talk about shit. I wish there was more stuff in the all sports discussion, but it seems that all people want to do is (including myself) is post whatever plays they're playing for the day in the picks section. That's great and I like to tail someone when they're winning, but I wish people would post why the play certain games and what types of angles they're using so I could actually learn something. Its great when people post winners, but I think it would benifit everyone if people posted why they like a certain play.

vols, Monte closed this forum for awhile and me and joe asked for it to be reopened. Monte really didn't want to because of all the bullshit and we pretty much begged thinking it would bring traffic here. Well, i have since changed my mind on it again because i just didn't think it would dominate the website like it has. If it was 100 people talking, that would be one thing but it isn't. It is the same 10 guys bumping threads 500 times a day fighting the same fight with each other.

For me, it has become very, very, old and i'm kinda sick of it.

If you don't like it, don't read it. How many threads are there that people have to sift through on a daily basis from the rants forum on here? 2? 3? Wow, that's just so unbelievably egregious.....

I may not agree with some of the posters in this forum but they do have a right to post here and to be honest, even though they have not persuaded me in the least bit to accept the Conservative ideology, they certainly have made me more aware and knowledgeable about my own beliefs.

I haven't read the first 9 pages of this, I don't plan to. Just my opinion, the other day I logged on late, about midnight maybe a little later on a weeknight, 8 of the 15 threads on the homepage were from the R,P&R Forum.

I think the site's focus is becoming more toward Politics and fading away from sports.Whether that's because it's the summer and sports are slow, or because the members are genuinely more interested in Politics than sports, I don't know....
