On the flip side of that husker doesn't post plays. He only goes around and picks out certain posters then re-posts their picks and making fun of them, because they aren't winning. I've seen this over and over by guys on the internet. It's easy to do what husker does. The hard part is to actually post plays of your own and actually interact with others regarding games etc.

Just like I pointed out that he was not showing vig, so how could he keep accurate posts....I also said, don't live in a glass house and throw stones.... Until all start showing Lines (vig) and rating on plays (*'s), the controversy will exist..Cause one can try and correct what he thinks is wrong, (doing the units in the wrong fashion), and be chastised for not pointing it out on everyone....He then becomes Bias towards others....What is blatantly wrong can jump out at you, but if one wanted, he could find fault with most anything posted here....Human Nature....

But I say this, anyone can call out an obvious error, and present it to the Poster, and depending on how the poster reacts, is gonna determine if it's a pissing contest, or simple error....I recently encountered that scenario, and the Poster was very professional, realized his error, and agreed to change the #'s, and I agreed to help him....Backtrack the whole season....

Sounds simple---really was---but because I didn't call out everyone, especially NEIL, I was accused of Being Prejudice, overly protective, fighting his battles for him, making "Double Standard" moves, and was Isolating one person....and I should practice what I preach........

This goes to show you how touchy this subject can be, and how carefully one has to make comments regarding record keeping......We all had one thing in common though, was what's a newbie to think when he sees these records....May be blindly following a good, but erroneous record, regardless of the reasons, on purpose, or by mistake.....It's the same results...

Until we set parameters on record keeping, and we really can't, cause you can't control how each person words his posts......An example is that, I recently tried to get everyone to show rotation #'s, to get in the habit, for ease of finding during NCAA FB season.....some made jokes about it, no problem......But because I didn't jump on others, namely NEIL, one of the 3 Wise Men, which I am also 1 of the 3 WM, I'm being predujice....I tried, and Neil more or less told me and all others, he's not gonna do it....That's his prerogative.....as well as it your's......

I personaly think it would behoove all of us, to show rotation #'s, ratings on plays, along with updated lines (VIG)....But that's just my opinion, and I am truly sorry, that I ever gave it.......It's too easy to misinterpret ones intentions, when trnslating the English Language, unless one is emphatic when one writes.....

Chuck Lazar now going to post, and Husker to keep his record for him, and the Forum.....How ridiculous........He can Keep mine if he wants, Neils also....and all others that do not keep em.....We can also question NEIL about the hi line plays at -235, and ask does he really play them, and ignore a regular that made a 3* play on the Braves at -320, without an inquiry, why, cause he didn't show the lines....

I play a ton of -140/-165 games, and I'm ahead for the first 1/2.....I'm not gonna question any one ,any more, regarding anything.....I'm not gonna debate with anyone, cause it gets twisted.....I'm just gonna post my plays, wish all GL, when I have time........There's no sense in anyone trying to talk to me bout a damn thing, because I am "Hard Headed" and I won't listen.....

I agree Kaptain with alot if not all that you said. You can't make posters put up legitimate lines, or rotation #'s, and it is impossible to track all of the posters here at BC.

For newbie's, you best do your homework before just following blindly. I learned that lesson, so should others.

It takes some stones to post plays, you open yourself up to congrats as well as ridicule.

Rotation #'s are a pain, but you are CORRECT, they should be put up. It does make it easier for others, and if your taking the time to post, you obviously want others to see it. I might joke about that with you, but it is purely in jest and i know you know that.

You got my vote for BC president, it should go to someone fair and wise and level headed. And that definitley is what you are.

agreed------I show lots of plays, and also many times say, I'm playing just the 3* top rated ones, but mostly play everything I post.....NEIL also said, he plays the top rated, but posts em all any way for others to follow....Much like a capper showing his plays, 5 of em, and then 10 opinions......It's back to the English language and how well you describe what you're saying...I personaly think the way you do it it, is as good as it can get done, especially when you say, let's try DEESE.ha ha

I agree with both your thinking, and have felt that way since day one.

I think that Monte should add a new rule as to how one has to post plays. It should have rotation #'s along with the line and the sports-book it was from. If it was from a local, it still has to be consistent to Don Best's Sports-books Lines, no exceptions. Also 5 units is the maximum unit one can post, with units ranging from 1-5
This is the only way to eliminate all and any controversy

I am in a league during MLB and NFL. You pick 10 games a week for MLB and 6 games for NFL. You have to post your line from Don Best's sports-book listing and no where else. Each week there is a winner.

At some level, you have to just trust the people posting plays. Although I think that more capping contests where the plays are available before post would benefit. In the NFL contest, everyone's record was legit and we all used the same lines and the same units.
