I'm Going on a Romance Tour

Well, my fiancee leaves in less than a week for Bogota for the most important interview in her life, which is on 1/24;I am confident she will do fine but I still have a few butterflies about it.
My lady is more worried about having to get a few vaccinations than the interview itself.
It will be quite a challenge for me to help her acclimate herself to the culture, cold weather, etc. and of course to help her with her English.
It will be a while before I attempt to teach her the terms of gambling such as straight bets, teasers, parlays, etc.

Thanks Dan, but in this case the number 1 "companionship" will have to be my lady;if gambling and the lady get equal footing, the "Lock" of the century is that I will be left with the gambling only.
As wonderful as my fiancee is, she is going to need a lot of help adjusting to the language, culture, weather, hopefully my cat (she doesn't as yet like them), etc. and will need a lot of personal attention.
I think I will be alright as long as I simply just bet the games (going with someone hot on the board) but don't spend the whole day on this forum and a few others.

Well everyone-today is a very special day for me. I just found out earlier today from my fiancee that she "passed" the interview and has been approved for a Visa.
This means that we she is free to come to this country to live with me and get married(and to pick some games lol).
It wasn't a slam dunk however-she told me in so many words that a nasty 25 year old American bitch conducted the interview in Bogota and gave her a hard time about the fact that she is 25 years younger than I, the implication being being that she wanted to marry me only for the money, which of course is the furthest thing from the truth. She also fired a lot of tough questions at her.
She finally convinced her with my two visits, copies of emails between us, phone bills,etc. that this was a real relationship and based on love.
If our places were exchanged, and after I received the Visa, I would tell that bitch to go fu-k herself.
Anways, on more pleasant note, it appears now that I will be returning to Colombia in late Feb. to marry her there to please her family, go on a little honeymoon and then return to the US ,and to comply with the law of having to marry here in the States, do that also within 90 days as prescribed by law(call it Game 2 of the doubleheader. .)
In any case, and speaking of baseball, it appears that in respect to this venture which started last July,(wjen I started corresponding with the lady who would ultimately become my fiancee), I am now rounding third base and headed home.
I ama very happy guy tonight(even though bettingwise I just broke even if you get my drift).
Well, thats it for now.
I will update this again when something else of consequence happens.

Jcindaville-is your brother going there cold turkey so to speak with no prospects or is he going to to see/meet ladies with whom he has corresponded already? And do you know what part of Brazil he is going to(its a pretty big country)?
