  • I don't want to belabor this too much, but I found out more about the type of questions they asked her:
They wanted to know about the relationship between ME and my first wife and what went wrong;what a stupid fu king question to ask HER. how does she(my fiancee) know, other than what I told her. Ask ME that but not her!
They also asked her when my father died, like that has some relevancy and other non relevant questions;in essence she told me the American bitch was trying to trick her in some ways in order to keep her from getting her visa, and she felt very uncomortable.
Once she arrives here, I am going to call the American Consulate HERE to get to the bottom of this.
Also as stated yesterday, the punk interviewer made a big deal about the age difference like this is a first or something.
On a brighter note she does have the visa.
Also, while at first she was taken aback by the cold in Bogota(65 in days and in 40's at night, as city is elevated) as she is used to temperatures in 80's and rarely below 75(she lives in Cartagena, which is at sea level, she said she is getting used to it.
She now wants to relax as she has been under a lot of stress;we agreed that she could vacation there until Sunday before returning home.
Next week starts the fun, as she will be making preparations for the wedding which will probably be on Feb 25.(who is playing that night? lol).
    Stay tuned for more.
ps One last thing I want to add to this and it is humorous:
My lady is quite religious, and every time they tried to trick her/ or ask her a question relating to why she wanted to marry me, she told the bitch because it is God's plan;that shut the jerk up for a while anyways.

    • It appears that the Colombian wedding will be Sat.2/25 as stated before with the American wedding date set to be named at a later date(that almost sounds like a baseball trade with the player to be named later).
She had a great time in Bogota(after the interview) and shortly will be headed home to Cartagena.

              • Thanks again guys for the good wishes and encourgagement.
Lets just hope for my sake that after sifting through literally hundreds if not thousands of ladies from all over the world at Foreign Affair(The Agency), Latinamericancupid.com and Mate1 sinceJune and corresponding with quite a few of them, my fiancee continues to be the wonderful lady she has been up to now.

                • For those of you interested, there has been a change.
Originally, we were supposed to marry first in Colombia for the sake of her family and then in the States to satisfy the 90 day requirements of marrying in the USA within 90 days after entering the country.
Well, the problem is that she is coming here under fiancee provisions.
When I married my first wife in the early 90's under the fiancee visa provisions, we also had wedding there(Philippines) first and didn't tell anyone(as that would mean we were already married and would not be within the fiancee law of NOT being married first);there was in fact no problem, and we simply had a second wedding here(US).
Well, inasmuch as my fiancee was worried about trying the same thing again(marrying in Colombia first), I decided to call an Immigration Attorney to find out whether it was a big deal or not if I did the same thing as before.
In a nutshell he stated that he wouldn't advise it, as everything has changed since 9/11, and if they found out we were already married prior to her entering the US, she could be sent back to Colombia.
He stated we could change the application to a spousal visa, but that would be time consuming.
Thus, to be safe, my lady and I decided to forego Game 1 of the Doubleheader(marrying her there), and simply come back to the States and marry here(Game 2);the tentative date has been made for 3/11.

                  • I don't see what the big deal is for the USA if you marry her first in her Country. As it wouldn't be official here in the States until you say the I Do's in our Country.

Monte I agree, and that is what I did with my first wife and was advised to do. No one gave a rat's ass.
But as stated, because of 9/11, there is ultra tight security, and the govt. might frown on any little things which doesn't go strictly by the rules;the rules in this case clearly state that she is to be single (meaning she couldn't be married, which would imply we could not marry even it it were in Colombia only).
I might very well get away with marrying her there first and not telling anyone, but unlike every day sports gambling, the stakes here are just too high.
Remember, we can always return to Colombia some day AFTER we are married here and have another ceremony there assuming in Colombia they wouldn't object, knowing we were already married in the US.
Lovedoc-I would love to invite everyone to the ceremony here, and maybe if I hit Brandon LOSER Lane's one million dime lock, I might invite BC and maybe even Brandon himself.

No-The wedding is going to be a civil wedding at my mother's house;thus the time is sort of approximate. It is really more of a welcoming party with the wedding thrown in for good measure.
ps I have promised her that sometime this year we will return to Colombia to have a second wedding there;I guess it is legal to do it that way rather than the other way around
