Hi everyone and thanks for the congratulations.
Re:fiance visa, the answer is yes;it is much quicker than spousal visa.
We will get married over here however to please her family AFTER she has been approved(around and I am guessing 3 months from now) and then another official ceremony in the uSW within 90 days to meet requirements.
I am very happy with the lady, and Cartagena is a GREAT vacation spot in general;I am right on the ocean and the view from patio at night is awesome.
Anyways I will have a lot more to say and some photos of the lady(Rosa Maria) in comong days.
No gambling here for me, and usually all I check are the scores of Red Sox and Yankee games every day.
Baseball is very big down here and many of Sos games are broadcast (ESPN, Fox, etc.) It is really something to watch a game when commentary is in Spanish.
I return Sunday night.

Jcindaville-More like 3 to 5 months, but Vermont(my processing center) is said to be real quick so you never know.
After fiancee visa is approved, we might have a civil wedding in Colombia first for her famiy and then another civil wedding in the states within 90 days after her arrival here, which is the law.
I have all of her paperwork already and started on my verifications (for me) today.
I don't mean to be boastful, but I could look forever in the states and probably elsewhere, and in terms of her age, her lovely looks and her loving, caring personality, it would be difficult for me to find a better lady.
I hope to post some photos with help of my friend soon.

One of my strong points is NOT posting photos. Last night I tried to at least copy and post her profile photos she had posted but was unable to.
I had no trouble sending the above with emails by clicking shared photos, but when I tried to post them in the reply section here, nothing happened.
If anyone can explain to me how to do this, I will try again.;otherwise, I will have to wait for my ex-wife's husband to do it as well as posting the new photos of her which I took on the trip.

Thanks Jcindaville and RJ;I was VERY lucky;I wrote to her before I even went on the tour and then spent a good part of the first two days there(prior to the social events) establishing the ground work to ensure my success.
Actually only one other guy out of the 11 or 12 got engaged;as much as I promoted this tour on this entire thread, I now believe that it is still difficult for most guys to go on one of these tours and for both the guy and lady decide to get married in such a short period of time.
For me personally, most of the ladies at the two social events(approx 140 total-70 at each) were way too young for me and/or had children and/or for other reasons were not suitable(not good looking, etc.);there were other available ladies who are a member of Foreign Affair who did not attend the functions I could have pursued also in all fairness.
Lets put it this way, and this is an honest appraisal for me only,(there were two other older guys approximately my age and the rest somewhat younger):
If I had known who was going to be at the Socials and knowing what I do now(prior to joining Foreign Affair), and had I not known about my lady (her name is Rosa Maria), I might not have signed up.
I say this only from the perspective of someone who just turned 61.
From the perspective of someone in their 30's up to around 50 or so, I think it is worth a shot, as there were some very pretty, loving and caring ladies there(I talked with them using an interpeter, and my general sense was that most liked me but felt that I was too old for them);that being said, it still is not easy no matter how young you are especially if a guy goes for only a week or so.
Getting back to Rosa Maria, what makes her special to me besides her nice looks and body, is her total devotion to me- very loving, affectionate, caring and just little things like wiping a little piece of food off my mouth or combing my hair if it doesn't look right, etc. make me feel very special.
I won't lie-she is quite religious and is an evangelical christian;I have already told her that while I might attend church with her until/if she finds someone else with whom to attend, that I will not convert(I am Jewish).
She doesn't think that above will be a problem;what counts is that we are both spiritual and believe in god.
I don't know how she feels about betting, but obviously I want to be sure that I put it in perspective(I didn't do this with my first wife from the Philippines, and hopefully I learned from that).
To sum this up for me, obviously I am quite happy, and as is usually the case with most things in life, hard work pays off.
Overall, I would highly recommend that any of you guys(especially in mid 30's to early 50's) who would like to find a nice ladies, try something like I did and/or try the two websites/services that I did-www.latinamericancupid.com or www. mate1.com.

Savage - thanx for the journey- rosa maria - very pretty lady- but uh I keep thinking of the three ships when her name was mentioned. The Pinto, The Rosa and The Maria. Just joking- Looks like you had a great time and possibly a B/C outing in another country may be a fun trip. Highly recommended.
