I will say hello as i roll down Washington road. You cant even see the course, it has fence with Ivy all around it and some brick fencing.

I have lived in Augusta and i am there at least twice a year, never been to the course. I dont have the money for that.

I wondered why you were a Gerogian pulling for them Vols

I sale Heating and Air equipment(RUUD)and I have been telling the higher ups we need to get a branch out in Augusta.We are in Conyers and we are rolling out in Lake Oconee right now.It takes us about 1 hr to get to the lots on the lake but that is where all the new construction is.I dont know if you have been out to Oconee since you moved but that place is unbelievable now.Lots of $$$$

No doubt about it KB .... We have so much food for Thanksgiving, it is a shame. Everyone (Adults) prepairs a dish, so we probably will have at least 25 or so items to choose from. Some good eats await us Thursday!!!!

I swear Jimmy, I'm a cajun born in Okiehoma. I love spicy cajun foods. I've gotta make it down there sometime and eat some local grub. I'm always eating red beans and rice, jambalya, and what not around here. Never tried crawfish though, don't trust anyone around here to make it right

Morning all.

I will say this, my brother in laws family would have crawfish shipped up to here in NY. We would have 100lbs, with potatoes and corn cooked in cajun spices in a deep fryer of some sort, rice and beans all sitting outside in the fall , with cases of beer (bottled beer they said seemed much better then tap with the food). Eating the corn it was so hot it would make you cry. We would be eating for hours, from like 11 in the morning till 7 at night.

What we came to realize about it was that it was just not about eating the food, it was the amazing socialization that went along with it.

Since Katrina we tried to do it twice, and both times it went horrible. The place we had previously used no longer existed and the first place we tried sent the crawfish and they were rancid and rotten. The second place called us two days before and told us they could not fufill our order for another 20days (and we had scheduled everything).

Now my sister is divorced and have no clue how to start from scratch as it was her husbands family that ran it. Really miss it though.

Damn, that sucks Bill. I agree just the being around family and friends is the best part about it.
