Ok, i guess i'll say it again.

Why would Notre Dame want to join a conference for football, when all the major conferences signed off on the current BCS formula which says if Notre Dame wins 9 games they are eligible for a BCS bowl game.

Notre Dame would not necessarliy get a BCS bowl bid if they were in the Big East, or Big 10 etc....

So again, I'll ask again....are we too good to join a conference, or are we too smart?

I'm going right now with the latter.....and i'm willing to bet that any other school would jump at the chance to get the same deal as Notre Dame did.

Does that make me an elitist? No. I knew Notre Dame would get demolished in the bowl game. They weren't in the same league as LSU...but that is neither here nor there.

    Lets no go where???

I know why they are not in the big east, i dont blame them for that. I dont like it, if i was the commish of the big east i would boot them out of the conf or make them join.

But again, lose what argument??? How can i lose an argument when im not arguing

I just called you a football elitist. Are we arguing that??
