I think we will miss Soriano's bat immensley...With hime we have 3 power hitter, now only 2...we need JJ to step up big time...I think Sori's leadership (although he's quiet) will be a loss..Murton is at best a part time player, Pagan cant hit, Pie who was supposed to be our future doesnt have the trust of Lou, he cant hit either.....I wish we could get Dunn, can you imagine a power hitting LF at Wrigley, we've never really had one...

Well there is no question we'll miss his bat....and we'll miss his speed depending on who fills in for him.

Instead of relying on his power...we might have to hit and run more often.

I am interested to see if they even bring Pie up or not. If they can trade for a bat, they may not need to. But a rotation of Murton, Pagan, Floyd might do the job.


Don't tell Dave Moreland we've never had a power hitting LF!!!

Or how about Henry Rodriguez? George Bell? LOL

Our pitching has GOT to be better now, cause our run support may or may not be as high as the norm for a month.
