The Cubs have a lot more to lose than the Giants, despite the All-Star Game and Bonds' 756, it has been down year for both the Giants and the A's. My loyalities however will always remain with the LA Angels. I grew up watching them and suffered thru the good times and bad...finally in 2002 the Angels rewarded my loyalty...was in the stands at the Big A with my Dad for the famous Game 6 comeback. I have a sense that one of these seasons will be the year of the Cubs, but predicting the future is a tough gig.
