I'll tell you why:
Because if they reviewed it, everyone will tell you that, that was not conclusive evidence. You can say it looks like it "might" have hit the rim. But without a shadow of a doubt, they can't reverse it. So jump ball right???? Howard's on the floor, vs. who? Kendrick Perkins? Sorry but Orlando would have gotten the ball.
I don't gripe about the refs or umps or whoever very often, even when my Mavs lost I wasn't too pissed about that call. IMO, this call was worse. Way worse. Because this time they didn't call it wrong, they called it RIGHT, and then had the gaul to overturn it without even looking at things.
I didn't read every word of the thread but there is no way "fix" can ever be associated with this game. I think that's obvious because if you are taking Orlando today you are definitely rolling with the books. Therefore, you would likely get the questionable call in that situation.
If I posted my bet history from today that settled after boston hit I'd be ran off the site for doctoring my history. But I honestly believed the ball hit the rim live. I thought I heard something in the telecast that sounded like it grazed the rim and it looked like the ball changed direction.
I thought I read Jimmy post somewhere how were all blind to what we have and it may be true but that's my honest 2 cents.
Now let's pray boston loses game 6 so we can do this again game 7!!!

IMO, if that play wasn't "worth review" then nothing EVER will be. Because that is as close, and as decisive a play that you will ever come by in the course of watching basketball....."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"
