Immediately after the ball hit rim and a no touch was originally made, the celtic player who was right underneath the basket went crazy. I don't think he goes nuts if it just hit net.......and yes i know he a celtic player. But he was pretty sure about it.

celtic players have been know to be good actors -- just look at they 10 " injuries" pierce has had the last 2 years

smart play on perkins part - if you look at the reply he wasnt even looking up - he reacted and the refs bought it hook line and sinker ( or got the call from sterm in their earpieces

imo, there had to be one official that thinks he clearly saw it and said it wasn't necessary. I am sure we will find out the real answer soon....

Because the NBA wants a 7 game series, you watch there will be a fucked up call to give the magic the next game so stern gets what he wants!

I agree. Review it. However, rom what my brother told me about the sound in the arena, how do you review a sound? Either way, what is done is done. In all, that game did not change on that call. Orlando crashed and burned. Who is to say they would have scored with the ball. They didn't score before or after?

its the critical calls at critical times of the games that are important - and these "david stern teams" get them all the time

what do i care if the other teams are getting the calls when they are up 20 or down 20

who is getting the calls the last 5 minutes when the game is tight ?
If you think Stern is such a cheater, why do you continue to place 2000 on these games. The value in making money is no different than flipping a coin.

I do feel your loss, but 20 is all I'd ever throw on these games when I really haven't a clue as to which way the refs will go.

There is a lot of truth to that! That's why I pick NBA games along those lines!

Yes but a concrete video is more important than what an official might have seen. Even if he is so sure of what he saw, why not look at it? What does he have to lose? If he's so sure, the video can only confirm that.

The video will only show what ACTUALLY happened. So again, why not look at it?

But is it really simply blown calls ?

The shit is just sooooo suspicious

Although I think Denver easily wins that series ... it should be 2-2 !!!!! Huge diffrence from 3-1

You don't have to review the sound, review it though, gather as much info as possible before making a critical call. Review NEVER hurts, so why not do it?

Same thing is happening in these NHL playoffs, as players have been getting hit in the head and face with high sticks and no penalties have been called. 7 games makes more money!!

as loud as it was no one hears the ball hit the rim IMO

Not even Perkins who was under the rim

As loud as the fans were the officials cannot hear that ball hit rim
