This was Favre's ego (huge, but deservedly so) versus Ted Thompson's ego. An owner with his own money/pride on the line would have intervened.

Many of us have learned there's no debating with Wayne. Even when presented with facts Wayne argues with his unwavering OPINION. Wayne and I had a debate a few years back. I posted statistical facts. He continued to argue his OPINION.
