As a Twins fan that deal fucking blows for the Twins!! Charley Walters is know as a hack in MN and doesn't know shit so I know this is bullshit. Twins have basically said no Ellisbury, no trade from what I have read. The Yankees are offering better players so if they make the deal it would be with the Yankees. Hope to see the Angels, Dodgers or the Mets step up to the plate. If nothing decent comes across the Twin's plate they will just start the year with Johan and trade him later.

Santana is the best pitcher in baseball today withstanding last years Jake Peavy season....Jon Lester is a decent #3 starter (based on potential, in my book as he stands now he is a 5) but Hughes has the talent to be an ace. Melky Cabrera to me is better than Crisp and Ellsbury....I havent seen anything from Ellsbury and Crisp is a good defender with an avg bat while Melky is an above avg fielder and hitter

I do not know who those other prospects are but they must be great if thats all it takes to get Johan....Johan would be the ace of any team in the majors, instantly

"This Season" ... Beckett, Sabathia and Peavy were all better. I did watch Santana several times this season on my MLB Extra Innings package and he simply wasn't the dominating guy he was when he Won the Cy Young!
