my man
i have worked some of the hardest jobs you can do // working in hot fields, hauling hay, working in cold warehouses with no heat doing heavy lifting and driving forklifts//i learned this from an oletimer in my late teens and it was one of the best lessons i have ever receieved //whatever your doing-go at it with a good atitude-always laugh and cut-up with your employees no matter how brutal the working conditions //work will go bye faster, your co-workers will enjoy working around you,the workday will go bye so much faster // the boss will notice your crew is getting things done a lot faster because everyones having a goodtime and you stand a better chance of moving up the foodchain// just chungs 2 cents from quite a few years of experience!!DON'T YOU EAT THE YELLOW SNOW !!PS-MARVIN LOVES SPLIT SALAD !!

starting your own business like any other endeavor requires a unique skill set....not all people are cut out to be self-employed and many who do go that route end up just buying themselves a job and thus burning themselves out.....there is plusses and minuses to both....i have done many things...usmc officer, self-employed sports stores (high sales, but failed), awards business (partner stole....but i recovered and sold 3 stores for a nice profit), sold pharmaceuticals (worked for the man), promotions and marketing company (own now), starting a unique concept may 1st.....telemarketing a new product....
Anyways, i think much of the advise given is very good....but only you can choose your vocation....some people approach it as a miserable existence and just try to get by and some like chung try to make the best of it and move up the ladder.....I think attitude is the most important thing in a profession and never be ashamed of what you do......I used to have friends laugh at me when i made trophies (owned the place), but i had the last laugh since i was making more than most attornies when i was doing it.....My point is that all professions are noble....well the legal ones are....Just my 2 cents

I hated working period, I also wish to hit the lotto so I never have to work again. But as far as my job...
I talked about this with a fellow worker yesturday, I actually don't mind my job. I make great money (probably to much, forcing me never to be able to quit).
The only thing that sucks about my job is some of the jerk-offs I work with. Also, I am 30 years old and it's not really a job you can do till your 65, so in I'll eventually have to find something new.Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Working stiff - Same boring ass job for 29 yrs.... allowed me to put a Kid through College ( 5yrs 2 degrees ) 5 weeks vacation and they let me go to Maui once a year ! I'm in TOO Deep to change now ... of course that's what I thought after the 1st 8 yrs . Maybe I could get them to throw in a couple of Extra Lobster Rolls ....
Have a friend that sums it up like this .... As long as you work for the Man ....it's ALL Bullshit ....sometimes it's Light Brown shit , sometimes it's Dark Brown shit but it's ALL Bullshit .
If you love what you do ...you are Truely blessed !!
