  • Opinion on Russ Limbaugh

I know this question will probably be very controversial, but I would like for any of you who listen to Rush to state what you think of him.
You can do this is sentences or by simply using adjectives.
This is one time when I will not go first.

Well, I guess it about time for me to give my opinion since I started the thread.
Interestingly there haven been very few kind things said so far, and I am not going to be the one to change that.
Anyways the words that come to mind are pretty much those which have already been stated:.
Arrogant, egotistical one sided in thinking with an inability/not willing to listen to an opposing point of view, bigot, racist(listen for example to the way he says Reverend Jackson's name some time), lack of concern for the poor, uneducated and disabled, pawn and mouthpiece for the White House and George Bush and Cheney, lack of concern for the environment, unable to maintain a successful relationship with a woman(most of them are inferior) with 3 divorces because of his arrogance (or is it homosexuality), hypocrite(illegal procurement and use of drugs while at the same time saying bad things about drug dealers and users), "leader" in hate radio(if you are not a white right wing, ultra conservative and for the most part not a man, you are no good and are considered vermin), disrepectful of the office of the presidency(even if he didn't like Clinton, I thought it disgusting the way in which he used to try to mock the way Clinton spoke while he was still in office), twisting and omitting facts to suit his agenda, lack of perspective as to what is important and what is not and fundamental lack of historical knowledge in wordly matters.
I could probably list some more of his "attributes" but those are at least some of the word/characteric associations I have when I think of this guy.
ps I still turn this guy on every day and have done so for years, as I admit I am curious as to what he will say next to make a fool out of himself;even Michael Savage, an arch conservative, finds this guy's views laughable;lets face it, anyone who thinks Bush can do no wrong and has NEVER done anything wrong just doesn't see reality.
For any of you who want to see a humorous, opposing point of view with a lot of parody and sarcasm and yet much truth, watch Bill Maher on HBO on the weekends.

I won't get into this argument. I am a 38 year old Conservative and agree with alot of what Rush has to say. There are issues where I disagree and some of them relate to his personal life. But the point at which you promote a lunatic like Bill Maher is where I shut down. He has every bit the agenda you claim Rush does- He just happens to be on the side you prefer. Nobody's wrong here, just incredibly different beliefs in what makes this country great! I hate Maher!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes, the truth is only the "truth" if you believe it.

I don't know how anyone can hate Bill Maher;he simply very eloquently and in a humorus way makes relevant points about this administration(I won't offend you by putting choice adjectives before the word administration) and about life in general;from my perspective he is on the mark most of the time about what he says about Bush and what makes him tick;it is too bad that more people don't watch the show and/or question the real motivation of the President and who his select clientele really is.
What has gone on in the last month or so and in the past few days speaks volumes about this corrupt, inept and self-serving administration.

LEFT WING LIBERALS are the primary reason this country is fucked up.

I'm so tired of their Monday morning QBing. Stop pointing fingers and offer sollutions.

Bush might have made some errors. But you tell me which president hasn't. One of this countries most popular president was one of the worst. John Kennedy.

We FINALLY has a president with BALLS. We were fucking attacked on 911. Our previous spineless president sat back at let us get attacked and have mud thrown in our face. Time and time again. Before Clinton the previous Democrat president couldn't get our citizens release from Iran for 444 days. Why? Because he was SPINELESS! Within days of Reagan taken office they were released. Why? The Iranians knew Reagan wouldn't take their BS.

That was my point its easy to say Iraq was a mistake. But almost every fucking useless politician in DC voted for the war. Like I said. It's easy to point fingers and say "would of" "should of". I strong leader takens the bull by the horns. Wrong or Right and doens't look back.

                              THAT'S WHAT LEADERSHIP IS ABOUT!

Every fucking LIBERAL is a Monday morning QB.

I didn't like Clinton. Clinton's economic success had very little to do with his policies. He was president at the right time. It was called the INTERNET and DOT.COM BOOM. The tech industry was a leading cause for the good economy in the late 90s. The economy was on the downward trend before Bush took office.
