Frank-I respectfully disagree. There isa difference between "having balls" as you term it and acting wisely.
Of course politicians and legislators voted for the war;for my mind they were given false facts (WMD) to influence their thinking and voting.
The point is that Iraq is a mess, thousands have died on both sides and Osama is still out there;is this a good administraion?
I don't trust Bush for one minute and strongly believe just about everything he does is to serve the big money and Powerful interests in this country.
The investigations starting today regarding the leaks to me give a pretty good idea of what this administration will do to someone for trying to expose it, and that is just the tip pf the iceberg.
Total respect for this country in the eyes of the world is at an alltime low (I wonder why).
The reason Bush's popularity competency ratings have dropped to an all time low in THIS country, and that in itself tells me the public is catching on.
ps Well at least you and I agree on Loser Lawrence, etc. if not politics.

Especailly, that useless piece of shit California Rep. Nancy Pelosi. She goes on TV bitching it should have been done this way or that way. All she does is bitch. I never see her take any leadership roll. Leadership is about bitching. Leadership is about getting the job done.
Pelosi said the response to New Orleans was too slow. I'll tell you what, Pelosi. Get off your dead ass and go to New Orleans yourself if you can do a better job.
STOP BITCHING!!! Offer solutions.
OK! All you left wing liberals. We ARE in Iraq. Wrong or Right. What's your solution about getting out of Iraq? Enough with the bitching that we should be there in the first place. Guess what? Your SPINELESS liberal politician voted their approval about going to war vs. Iraq.
OFFER SOLUTIONS.

Re: the war-one cannot simply dismiss the fact that we are there now and focus on how to get out.
I firmly believe that if/when facts come out as to WHY war was started in Iraq, it will really show how the American public was totally and deliberately misled!
I strongly suggest that everyone read John Dean's book, Worse than Watergate;if nothing else, it will at least make you consider the possibility that this administration is not even close to leveling with the American public!Last edited by savage1; 10-28-2005, 01:18 PM.

Do you know where the false info about WMD came from? It didn't come from the presidents staff. It came from the leaders in the Middle East. THEY wanted Saddam out of power. They feared him. They gave us bogus info. Out intel SUCKS.
John Kerry was on the intel panel. Yet he voted for the war. He had the same info that all politicians had.

Like I said. I'm proud we have a president that basically told the rest of the world "you've fucked us long enough". "Go FUCK YOURSELVES".
If any America really cares what the rest of the world thinks of America then maybe they should go live with them.
Take Pelosi and Alec Balwin with you.
The reason Bush's popularity competency ratings have dropped to an all time low in THIS country, and that in itself tells me the public is catching on.
IT FUCKEN SICKENS me that Americans have already forgotten 911.
You know what? The rest of the world looks at us like we are a joke. And in some ways we are.
