For that matter, the folks who drive like the Nascar drivers on the open roads are the ones who really are endangering lives and the ones who the law enforcement folks and camera entities should be focusing their attention on .

Hardly the same-missing it by split second if that(who knows how fast that light switched from yellow to red and/or whether times shown are correct)-compare that with some red neck boozing low life asshole going 95 mph on the highway, darting in an out of traffic and/or racing one of his buddies who is cut out of the same mold and doing the same thing-same thing, yeah right!

Sorry-what I did is what zillions of people do all the time with nary a thought-it was akin in severity to the phantom doubleplay at second base where the second baseman or shortstop doesn't touch second but has the ball in order to avoid being run into and possibly hurt-this is the same kind of phantom call except in this case it was called instead of not being called and/or at the very least there was no life witness in this instance it is just the opposite-no one would have been hurt.
No one was endangered at that light or else I wouldn't have done it in the first place-I have eyes you know!
I will let my excellent and documented driving record over the years speak for itself.
What I did was nothing more than a cheap way for the State of Texas to try to raise some money from preying on an out-of-stater in a rental car, nothing more and nothing less.
To use your words, the only "foolish" thing would simply be to cave give in to this utter nonsense and pay it.

If/until I can question the camera about some of the photos taken and how I know that the time intervals are correct and what the overall circumstances are, I regard those photos as subject to question.
Now if there had been a policeman present who saw with HIS human eyes what happened, I might feel differently.
Photos and time intervas can be doctored, and as stated, I have found instances of cases like this dismissed in California because there was not a human witness/officer there.

Either they delight in running up the score and/or there are quite a few killers there-in either case I want no part of living there.
Obviously I was exaggerating a bit about being arrested and executed over this "high crime"(at least executed).
Ever since Kennedy was assassinated there in 1963 and knowing the overall right wing political agreement there and how a lot of people think over there(some not all), I prefer to live in the good old Northeast.
Former President George W Bush did nothing to change my overall opinion of Texas and that's being kind.

If there was ever any question I had in my overall feelings about Texas, they dissipated with this cheap call ticket sent to me a month after I got home and based on a camera's evidence rather than that of a policeman either because the cops can't be bothered with this themselves and/or because the State of Texas has fucked up priorities.
