I'm a lurker on this site, I was OK with what you called a romance tour 3 or 4 years ago, I knew what it was, you still don't, you may have money but you can't convince anyone here that you "romanced" a girl 25 years younger than you that you were anything but a TICKET! I answered your question about baseball going outside the US to find talent. You countered with my putting a player in the wrong uniform. But you didn't answer the question. We spent a week together trying to get to know one another( and no I didn't need an interpreter);we talked about our values, backgrounds,etc and realized that we shared a lot in common.
The thing that most of you don't understand that the biggest difference between many Latin women and many American women(not all) (and the thing which made me want to go there-in this case Colombia) is that I had a pretty good huncg based on what I had read and been told that manyLatin women and I would agree on what we perceive as the aimportant things in a relationship/marriage.
When I actually found a woman who also views the meaning of marriage/commitment in the same way as I do and you couple those qualities with a woman who is devoutly religious like I did, I put the odds dramatically in my favor that the marriage would succeed, and bingo- it has for 3 1/2 years.
What really bothers me though is that you guys took the initial philosophical question asked in he original thread on a tangent and very few have actually addressed the question as posed.

If you like Latin women, why didn't you just to go a Latin country and meet a women like the rest of us would do. There has to be someone that likes an overweight, balding, hairy backed man, right?

Why does it matter what degenerates on a gambling forum think about YOUR MARRIAGE?? If you believe you have a good marriage, then who gives a shit what we think? If you think you have a bad one, the same applies. The opinions of people you've never met should be of no importance to you on a subject as serious as your wife.
