But at some point, betting online will become difficult, if for the only reason of pulling your money out. You'll be able to bet, but finding a way to get your cash without the Feds knowing is going to be difficult. That's what it will come down to.
If they know you are cashing out, and they CAN track your creddit card account or other funding institutions, then you may get prosecuted. My guiess is, they will prosecute at random and not just everyone....Just like they did to online music downloaders.....The Feds want their tax money. That's exactly what this is about my friends.....TAX MONEY
And to a certain exent, the moral standards put forth by Republican lawmakers.....
Good point about the music downloaders. But remember this is comparing apples to oranges here. The music industry was behind much more so than the government. I may be wrong, but I think the music industry had much more to loose by people stealing from them than we do on this issue. You herard of musicians like Madoona taking a serious stance against and of course they gave much press coverage to the people getting prosecuted to create fear. But Iknow people still do it.

Sorry BogataRob....I disagree with wholeheartedly....I can blame the Republican's, because THIS IS a Republican congress and the authors of this piece of shit bill are Republican's. This is exactly the kind of excess gov't that we expected. You voted for them, you die with them....OPEN YOUR EYES
What have they done for the past few years? War, highest gas, highest unemployment, federal deficit completely blown up, etc, etc etc
They had nothing else to worry about in congress than this piece of shit.....What a joke!Last edited by KazDog; 09-30-2006, 12:48 AM.

Thanx for the generous comments. I need to pick it up a notch. Hopefully I'll get on track Sunday. Once the Excel Program kicks in, we'll be on solid teams if nothing else.
I couldn't believe when I put in last week's numbers. My eyes popped out when I saw the Saints #1 in the NFC (chi #2, sea #3).
It's only 3 week's of numbers, but it does factor in strength of schedule. The more I look at the Saints first two wins, the more impressed I am.
Winning in Cleveland late in the year when their spirit is broken is one thing; but winning in their opener is a moderate acheivement. Then winning their second straight road game at Green Bay. Packers were at home off an embarrasing 27-0 shut out at home. Both those Saints wins say more about their character than what appears on the surface of merely beating a couple sub-par teams, imo.
There's no way I would lay seven points to them this weekend, even though from a technical standpoint Carolina is most definately the play. The line is just too high. Sure, Carolina hasn't had Steve Smith in their first two games. But that doens't exuse their poor defensive play, especially in their secondary...

Everyone else-
Do you know in the UK you can legally claim all your winnings and not have to pay taxes on gambling winnings if you can prove that it is not your primary job???

It's not that easy MCP....They have ways of tracking that money into your account or where you cash those checks......It's NOT worth going to jail and being prosecuted. If you're a business man in the community, it could potentially ruiin you

Half these bastards are placing action, or have at some point, themselves.
Unbelievable...
Moral police...could look at it that way but it never works and they know it...all about the $$$$$$$.
As stated earlier in the this thread if it does pass it will take sometime to enforce...How long? Don't know...but certainly more than days...more likely weeks or months. But, if passed, it will eventually be enforced and transferring money to or from a bank account will not happen. Will they go backwards to track accounts...possible, probably obvious large transfers of money INTO accounts...after all, this will become more about TAX EVASION and less about gambling. Heroin is illegal too but I sure see alot of junkies.
My suggestion, if this passes, it's back to your local book.

There are no health insurance companies in the UK. Your medical needs are paid for by the Gov't....Not saying I like this, but that's what being a part of a socialist country is all about....
For instance people in Europe some to the US for the best medical treatment- not adequete medical treatment- because US Docs are paid the most. Then again, certain treatments are not even available here. But that is another thread.
It is a game that cannot be won-politics- and what a game it is, eh?
