Someone really needs to explain to me what was bush league about swiping at the first baseman's glove. I have asked this question numerous times and no one has ever been able to give something even reasonably coherent as to why that's a bush league play.

What's the difference between that and trying to separate a catcher from his brain stem at home plate?

I absolutely couldnt agree more!!! The Yanks were struggling and he was already going to be out. I dont care if it was premeditated, things similar to this happen frequently in sport. The fact is people dont like ARod and this is finally a chance for people to speak negatively about him...

Anybody want to mention his card playing too as being unacceptbale?

If it's the bottom of the ninth and I need a hit, I will take Jeter or Ortiz every time of Senor Rodriguez.

got no problem with taking Jeter or Papi if you need a big hit, they are proven commodities. And outside of paying ARod, there isnt an owner who wouldnt be ecsatatic to have him on the club.
