Good Luck Wayne! I have plantar faciatis (sp.) as well and just had a Cortizone shot yesterday....it stings like hell for about 30 seconds then it feels okay...THEN the real pain set in about 30 minutes later when the medicine kicks in and lasts for about an hour. I cait wait for my next shot in two weeks!Comment

Thank you to everyone. I thought it was interesting to see 2 people use their 1st post in this thread to talk about my day surgery. Welcome and thanks!
It went well. I was only there about an hour and 45 minutes. I still can't feel my right foot right now because it is as numb as the rest of my body!
bover ... I'll be there shortly! lol
It wasn't too bad but the 4 needeles (2 in each side of the heel) did not feel good by any means. It actually hurt like a SOB but it's over and hopefully it starts to get better!
