look into shockwave therapy. my roommate works with foot and ankle docs quite a bit. this shockwave therapy is done in office and shoots holes in the tendon causing u pain. supposed to work very well
I did that for a month with zero results. We have tried everything. If this doesn't work they are going to go in and cut each side of my heel and stretch the tendon out and lock it back in place. I'm hoping this works. I've been dealing with this for months now and it is painful just walking to the bathroom!

LSUfan said if you were his boyfriend he would carry you to the bathroom....thats what cajun's do!!
i took that same shot......i have shots in the spine (4x), shoulders (many times), ankle, heel, elbow, knee......by far the back is the most painful.....the pain and pressure shoots down your legs since there is so much fluid in the spine anyways, so they have to ease it in.....
i wish you well....but most procedures i have had the anticipation has been worse than the event itself.....
Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!
Had that treatment about three years ago. WELL worth the pain of the treatment to be able to walk without pain afterwards. Doc also put me in some 40.00 insoles that I still wear and swear by today. Good luck with treatment and hope yours is as successful as mine was. Oh yeah and the pop when the needle goes through the heel skin is unbelievable. Grit your teeth. GOOD LUCK!!
