Yes, between the arch and heel. It hurts like a bastard but the cortizone in the heel will feel worse!

cortisone in the heel just burns a little....i have been so shot up with cortizone i can't remember....PF hurts like a mother....had it in the marines....good luck.....

WAYNE I HAD THAT DONE ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO the worst f**king pain i ever had. that shot is hell in that location. you might want to get doped up before you go.

look into shockwave therapy. my roommate works with foot and ankle docs quite a bit. this shockwave therapy is done in office and shoots holes in the tendon causing u pain. supposed to work very well

I know guys that got it in the heel and the skin is tough there so i've been told they have to DRIVE the needle in and it is a killer!

PF sucks bad. Mainly because it carries your weight and you basically are crippled at times with the thing.

Thanks for the support guys. Needles don't bother me but this trip tomm. has me a little nervous!

wayne - it is not that bad....there is much worse pain out there.....they will numb the skin....cortisone just burns a little, but it is worth it......do not be worried...ain't no thing......for my corrective surgery on my nose..they shot my face up with numbing agent....now those 6 needles hurt......face has lots of nerve endings and bleeds quite a bit too
