this SB line is a flat out trap. They are beggin for seattle $$$$.. if they really thought seattle had a legit shot at winning this game outright the line would have been much higher. It would have been pitt -7 or more.

If they are begging for seattle money shouldnt the line be at Pitt -7? If you want me to take seattle I would rather take the 7 than the 4. Am I missing something?

Could not agree more with your selection - excellent writeup! Pitts path to this game was much more impressive than the Seahawks. And one other fact about Seattle - no doubt they were very good at home (10-0), but AWAY from Qwest, they were just 5-3 and did not beat a team with a better than .500 record. Pitt is 9-2 on the road and with all the Steeler fans at Ford on Sunday, it might just feel like a home game. GL to us Pitt backers!

They have been saying all week on Sports radio that Pitt. will basically be playing a home game on someone else' field.

As far as the line goes. Alot of those on sports radio (espn, sporting news) believe the exact thing i mentioned with the line. I have heard 2 different guys that run sportsbooks in Vegas and they both said the line has been pretty solid on 4 with a little more money on Pittsburgh. They say the heaviest wagers they are being hit with is ML Wagers on Pitt. at around -185.

They were also asked why the line isn't higher or being pushed to 6 or 7 where alot of people thought it would be. He said (their words, not mine) "People are feeding into the last few years where there have been games decided by a FG, so they are also feeding into getting more than 3 points with a disrespected 1 seed vs a number 6."

They were laughing at the mind games these lines play on people. They also both liked Pitt.
