I've already put money on Ptt at -4 as I believe the line will go higher at the end of the week as Pitt fans start betting the game. Do I think the game could go either way, yes based on the factors below:- IMO -Holmgren is the better X & O coach
- Hasselback is better in the clutch then Ben R...(based on foxsports ratings)
- Seattle destroyed Carolina, whose defense was rated higher than Pitts for the regular season (3rd and 4th)
- Denver and Seattle's defensive were rated 16 and 15, respectively. With Seattle slightly better against the pass.
I feel Pitt will try to pressure Matt as they did Manning and Plummer. If Alexander has trouble running between the tackles, then you will see a lot of short passes to keep the defense back. Indy did that in the second half. Alexander won't be able to run the ball on the outside as Pitt's defense is too fast. (#1 reason why I picked Pitt to win).
I don't think the road vs home factor will be that relevant. Though there will be more Pitt fans, the SB is more of a corporate event.
IMO if the game is a blowout, Seattle wins...if close, Pitt wins.

Now that's what I'm talking about...Spoken from a true Winning Gambler.....I respect your opinion here more than anyone else, cause you have an open mind and too many others over think too much....You play and win with the obvious while others don't see the whole picture out there....
That's the key to winning.....Knowing who the better team is all the time and not to have it be the end of the world if they don't, but the cream always rises....Realizing that it's only A GAME and nothing more....
Keep those winners coming Buddy.....

"Does Seattle play in a dome?"
"The Seahawks are a bunch of pussies."
Wayne this is not directed at you, and I know I'm homer, but these statements are ridiculous. The Seahawks played two of the most physical defenses in the NFL in Carolina and Washington. The offense was able to move the ball on both teams. If it weren't for Jimm y Williams trying to be a hero on Special Teams the turnovers the Seahawks comitted against Washington would not have been a factor. Ask Nick Goings if the Seahawk defense is soft. The Seahawks DBs lay serious hat. Nobody knows who they are but Babineaux, Manuel, and Boulware punish receivers. In my opinion the scrub of of the DBs is Trufant.
On offense, how can you say a team with 6 Pro Bowlers is over rated? When the Seahawks run to the left they are running behind ALL PROs in Jones, Hutchinson, and Strong. Oh yeah and the NFL MVP and another ALL PRO will be running the ball. ALL PROs are different than Pro Bowlers as they represent the single best player at their position in the NFL for the year.
Who are the other two Pro Bowlers? They aren't starters, but they are the battery of the Seahawk offense. QB Hasselbeck and Center Tobeck. The true test will be Tobeck versus Hampton. If Hampton handles Tobeck, the Seahawks will have problems. Jones will neutralize Porter and Strong will be left in on passing downs to take care of Polamalu.
Have the Steelers faced a tougher road the Superbowl in the playoffs? Yes. But the Seahawks, didn't choose their schedule, they didn't ask for T.O. to be a jackass and kicked off the team or Indy to rest their players. They took care of business when they needed to. They dominated the NFC and earned their easy road the Superbowl.
I'm not saying bet the Hawks, but just understand that they are a little better team than most of the nation gives them credit for.
Did I mention their defense had the most sacks in the NFL?Control what you can control...
