I would like to know how the Pitt\Den game would have played out if Champ Bailey makes the interception for a TD in the first series of the game OR the ball doesn't bounce up in the air for a catch for a first down on the same play OR the referee doesn't overturn the fumble that Denver recovered and ended up scoring a TD.

Seattle is the better team, better coached, better qb and just better. Unless the Steelers get more favorable bounces and calls like they did against Denver, Seattle will win this one, IMO.

    GL to all.

I respect your opinion but how in the hell did Pitt. get all the bounces???

They were screwed by calls against Indy that should have cost them the game. It didn't and they still manhandled The Premier Colts on their turf. They also went into a low oxygen, hostile enviroment in Denver and just OWNED the place and played like it was theirs. Where are those bounces that would have changed these BLOWOUTS? Cincy??? Please ... Cincy had the lead for a long time and just folded under the unrelentless pressure by Pitt's D. They also Won in Cincy once before this year and were favored in the game. Carson or not, they had a great chance to win that one!

Seattle played a totally inept Wash. team that needed to play their asses off just to sneak into the playoffs, and a Carolina team on their 4th string running back while going cross country and playing their 4th road game in a row.

If anyone caught breaks leading up to this point it was Seattle.

Also, why is Holmgren the better coach? Because he had Favre and Won a Bowl? Put Brett in Pitt. for his whole career and Cowher would be going for his 4th ring Sunday. He brought Neil O'Donnell (? spelling) to the bowl. Holmgren would NEVER have been able to pull that off. Cowher also loses free agents year after year after year, and we're talking about big names, not small ones. Holmgren has underachieved his whole career after he left Favre for Seattle and they were even talking about his job being gone if they didn't win this year.

Cowher is NO DOUBT the better coach!!!

                  • IMO -Holmgren is the better X & O coach
                  • Hasselback is better in the clutch then Ben R...(based on foxsports ratings)
                  • Seattle destroyed Carolina, whose defense was rated higher than Pitts for the regular season (3rd and 4th)
                  • Denver and Seattle's defensive were rated 16 and 15, respectively. With Seattle slightly better against the pass.

I feel Pitt will try to pressure Matt as they did Manning and Plummer. If Alexander has trouble running between the tackles, then you will see a lot of short passes to keep the defense back. Indy did that in the second half. Alexander won't be able to run the ball on the outside as Pitt's defense is too fast. (#1 reason why I picked Pitt to win).

I don't think the road vs home factor will be that relevant. Though there will be more Pitt fans, the SB is more of a corporate event.

IMO if the game is a blowout, Seattle wins...if close, Pitt wins.
Your whole write works if your betting on Seattle but you said you have Pitt.

Read everything you typed including the bottom line and tell me again why you think Pitt. will win by 5 or more???

Moving out very very shortly number 1, number 2, happiness and the willingness to go to work and being happy soars way above a 100,000 career and being miserable
On the flip side, with a masters degree and teaching for 12 years one can make 70,000, and over 20 years one can max out at 85,000....which aint to shabby, plus better benefits than you'll ever see as well as we work 8 months out of the year skippy ....oh, I forgot the pention part....$$$$$$

.....I'll let you go watch office space for the millionth time...

I dont know what is going on between you and Tony, but it seems petty. Do the 2 of you know one another outside of BC? And Tony, there is nothing wrong with someone who is a teacher. Why would you critisize that profession.

To all people reading Waynes thread. Just so all of you know, he is hardcore Patriot fan. He also is one of few people who can get past his distaste for any team in any sport and make a completly objective choice versus the spread.
For that You should know that he has done his research on this game.
I for one am happy as a dimebag at a pizza hut buffet that he has capped this and likes my Steelers.
Guys like Wayne and Coverboy can get away from their personal dislikes for teams and their fans, and cap a game totally objective for the sake of money. For that i am grateful. Thank you Wayne for you OBJECTIVE views on this game.
