Frank....i'm not defending rainman as i've been critical of his hype as well, but I think you lose credibility when you constantly bash members with low post counts. What does post count have to do with anything?

Mule, I agree and disagree with you. First, I don't constantly bash members on their post count. Second, I didn't bash fro11bm. The point I was making is he's been a member for 4 months. The majority of his posts are from defending another member in that members threads. I'm Sorry! It smells fishy to me.

Besides this post show me where I bashed another member on their post count. I know another member did it last week. It wasn't me.

There are members at BC that have been here for years and never opened their mouth .. been here longer than I have .. they have no right to their opinions on things??? they sure do ... I welcome it ... We have some new members that just joined us a few months ago that are great contributors to the forum ... They have just as much right to say something than anyone else ...

Honestly Bashing goes on at every forum I have ever seen. This one is one of the less bashed forums out there.

Spark, I agree with you 100%. I have no problem with new members posting their opinions or games. You know me well enough to know I don't do that. Most members come and offer opinions. Very rarely is a new member bashed for doing so.

No doubt. I just said the same thing in another thread earlier in the week.

I just think that disregarding anyone on any internet board due to low post count is foolish. If I search back through my archives, I can find posts where my opinion was dismissed by veteran members of this board (not frankb), simply because I had a low post count.

Because they feel like they found the second coming of Christ .. but it makes no sense to keep telling them that their opinions mean nothing .. they have to learn for themselves .. I say warning them is fine but going back and forth with them is ridiculous ..
Now, if we had proof that someone was out to scam or cheat or lie .. total different subject ... You know I would be the first one in there .. I have never backed down to these guys and never will ..

I didn't say I was a better person. A guy with 1000 or 2000 posts is making a contribution to this site. A guy that simply lurks is making a limited contribution. If all we had is lurkers this site wouldn't exist. I never said a guy with few posts shouldn't post.

I asked what came first the chicken or the egg. Guys don't get bashed for no reason. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you post in an open forum you have to be ready for the possibility of ridicule.

Tony, we all start with the same number of posts. ZERO. So we ALL start as equals. Some decide to make contributions and some don't.

I don't post plays here for a simple reason and may be considered an Ass because of it. But I honestly can't stand it if I lose and feel that someone played hard earned money on something I picked which ended up losing. That bothers me.

I'm a streaky capper. I think I've posted 5 or six plays here and lost 2. But I have to admit, this does seem like a very cliquee group and it can be intimidating to some to open up.

I think Rainman007 has received far too much hype by others posting in his threads, negative or positive and he too hypes as well. It's sad, because I enjoy reading everyone's thought. That's why I joined. It be nice if he can just post his plays without the drama. But a lot of the drama is brought on by members here continuously egging him on......
Just my two cents.
