I didn't bet the fight because of Roy's glass jaw, but I sure thought he'd give a better account of himself tonight than this.

Regardless of what happened tonight, Roy is one of the most physically gifted and talented fighters of this generation. He constantly beat opponents with pure skill and speed. He is an unconventional fighter whos age caught up with him faster than most. I am just glad that he wasn't physically hurt in this fight like some unfortunate fighters we have seen stay past their prime. Either way he still won 5 championships in 4 divisions. Long live the G.O.A.T.

no doubt about it.....Probably the best in our era.....never a big fan of his, but the utmost respect for his skill.......but when is speed went...everything went......can not get away with low hands, no jab and questionable power...without the blazing speed.....Glad he was not hurt of course....but would appreciate a boxer not even stepping into the ring if his goal is to just survive so he is not remembered as leaving the game as a TKO casualty....Originally posted by slipperytroutRegardless of what happened tonight, Roy is one of the most physically gifted and talented fighters of this generation.
