That is the only way to think Seao and LoveDoc. You put it out for a play you are on- not for the attention. When I adjusted my totals to a higher amount - several jumped on it- it wasn't pretty and I have regretted it since. But somehow people believe if more money is bet on a play than it must be a good play. Services have been doing this for ages. My 100,000 dollar play goes tonight.

Sandman: The best reason for you to stay is: The favorites are a great early bet and the Dogs are a great last minute bet. Since most of us make our plays on the same day- it stands to reason that your success is in this format. Anyone waiting till 5pm- can forget about MLs on favorite teams that a favorite capper on site has taken the day before.

Instead on the same day of the game--RLs, Parlay Favs, Totals, Dogs, and Fades are the main plays.
Sandman - your dogs have been the best on B/C along with the fades. I play them both with a little chase from time to time.

In this thread I think some people have uncovered part of the psychology of posting plays, it's quite complex for some people. You post some plays then kind of watch your views, and if you win it's sometimes overtaken by evaluating if everyone even cares about your plays. It's part of the gamblers mentality, if you win, you always want more.

I've been tailing every play I can catch since the all star break, Sandy.. heck, my soccer posts get 20 views at best, but it's my way of trying to give back to the forum and if someone who earned me NBA or baseball money before wins on one of my picks, then I feel like I've given back.. hope you stick around, GL regardless..

i don't understand the sense of this at all. it takes me 3 minutes at MOST to post my plays. 2 and half of those mintues are taken by me checking my record and units won/loss. I post cause I like sharing what I am betting. I don't care if everyone bets them or no one bets them. I am sure this thread will get your views up. Congrats. Not trying to be rude but I hate threads like this.

Thanks for all the comments. After reading all of them slowly and carefully, I need to clarify a few things that were said. I post for only one reason. To make others some money. I've seen too many posts here from someone, usually but not always the new kids, saying they had a bad week betting on favorites that looked like a sure thing. It's frustrating to put some money on the table, so to speak and some of those that need it the most, walk right by it.

I spent a lot more than 3 minutes putting my dogs together and posting them. These are not the only games I play each day. I'm spending time going thru all the games I am playing, looking for the ones that fall under a system I use and that I think have the best chance of winning. I'm very selective in my plays and just last Saturday, I posted saying I could not find one dog worth playing, although I played some myself. It's very easy to find the 4 or 5 biggest favorites each day and post them. I could do that in 3 minutes, but am I doing anyone a favor posting them. Contrary to some of you, I don't post my plays to show what I am playing, I post them in the hope someone is playing them and making money. I am far from being the best capper here but I think I could withstand a cold spell better than most.

Some of the posts I see here give me a reason to spend the time I do finding and posting my dog plays. Thanks for letting me know. I just asked a simple question, asking if anyone is PLAYING my plays and am surprised some of you seem upset that I posted this.

I realize that it probably takes a lot of time to find the dogs, my point was that it takes but a few seconds to post the plays. That was all. Good luck today on your dog. I hope you do continue posting but don't stop b/c views are down!

I read your post, as I read everyone elses also.....The purpose of Posting is to throw out your opinion, with your record, let members see what you like, and it may enhance a decision to play the game or scare em off them going the other way....

The purpose here is to share "Opinions"....not to be #1, for bragging rights, or to fulfill egos, which most of us don't need to fuel.....Some do, we know who they are...It is time consuming, but you're gonna do it anyway for yourself, and after determining the games you want to play, it indeed does take an extra 3 minutes to post em.......

We have lost the Service Plays Section, which were second to the member picks anyway, thus by posting your plays, and everyone else doing the same, we now have our "Own Service PLays" section, for all to "Pick and choose"....

We are all one big "Family", sharing opinions, berating each other, laughing with each other, praising each other, and most importantly, up lifting each other (support), when we have a bad day....(Which we all do)....I throw out my games, and like when I win, hoping I may have helped someone, and feel like "Hell" when I lose....It's all part of sharing games.....

There is no more eratic a capper than me...I can hit 10 in a row on one day, have done it, and lose all 10 in one day here, have done it....But I have never, I mean never, wondered if anyone appreciated or disliked my picks....They'll let you know....

I reiterate, the purpose of this Forum is to share...Throw em out there and share, be part of the Forum Family, and the rest will take care of itself...Good members are what we're looking for here....That you are...Constructive, informative, and supportive posts is what I've seen from you, and expect to see more of em.....We thrive on Members who share....

Keep em coming---don't worry about the views (amt you get)....Some people get 3-4 a day...some get up in the thousands....so what...You stipulate "Dogs Only"....lots of people don't bet dogs, thus their interest is minimal, some, like me, like to see what dogs people like outright, thus enhancing a RL + 1 1/2 play for me.....

Whatever you do---best to ya, but don't lose perspective as to "What we are about"...your Podna---kapt

i dont understand these threads(not the first). i post plays, bet, play sports,etc. because its FUN. i could care less who views or pats me on the back. the satisfaction of wining is the reward.
