This May Be My Last Dog Post

My dogs went 3-1 yesterday for a gain of 3.40 units. They are now ahead over 10 units for this baseball season. 10 units may not sound like much but it's the same as being up over 50 units if I said all my picks are for 5 units. As most of you know, it can be time consuming finding the right plays to post. Like many here, I don't mind spending the time, if it is really helping somebody.

I'll be gone until next Monday and this seems the right time to ask if anyone is actually playing my dog plays. When I started posting them this season, I said that my dog plays have made money 4 of the past 5 years. The one losing season was for 6 units. I don't like saying you are missing making money if you don't follow my plays, but it's true. Just based on this baseball season so far, I think it's pretty clear my dogs do win and should continue to win. One reason is because I don't lay a lot of juice so you can lose a dog play and NOT have to win the next two plays just to make a small profit or sometimes just to get back to even.

My dog plays don't get a lot of hits nor a lot replies compared to some of the others here. I do want to tell those of you who wish me good luck all the time, that I appreciate your thoughts. What all this is leading to is that I don't want to do the work of finding and posting plays, if no one is playing them. I'm old enough that I don't need to post my dog plays just to fuel my ego. I'm doing it as a way of paying everyone back for football and basketball plays I follow because baseball is the only sport I feel I'm good at. So, here comes the punch line, if any of you are actually basing some of your plays on my dog plays and would miss them if I stopped posting them, please let me know. But, if you aren't using my plays, please don't say you are, when you aren't. Thanks all.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow but do have one last dog play for tonight.

i must be honest sandman... I have not been using your plays at all this season... I lost 4 straight games out of the box when baseball started and lost a checkup again last week.... 0-5 on the season..

I can understand what you are saying here, I was kind of waiting for a post like that. I have noticed there arent many people that say "thanks for the plays!" Nevertheless, you are one of my favorite people on this site, you definitely have a story to your life and I have been able to glean some lessons from it if you will. About posting plays, I have to admit I bet mostly favorites and it has made me money this season, but I ALWAYS look at your dog plays as it helps me jump off of a certain favorite or whatever, therefore, your posts are very useful to me!

I vote you continue to post your plays, or at the very least make posts and continue to be an active member, there has to be some people that have learned lessons in betting by the way you approach it.

Lovedoc. Even though I'm playing them too, it takes time to try to filter out and post only the dog plays I feel extra good about. I don't want to do extra work, if no one uses it.

Sandy- I feel much the same way. I also feel the need to quit posting as it seems like the time involved in peeling away layers to uncover a play and then post it- receives little support. I don't mean the ones who shares a good luck- 10 of ya out there- but the ones that do nothing to support any new capping on this site. I have followed Sandy because my system of slight chasing works well with dogs and fades. My own totals are now 21-6 on $100 plays and 3-8 on $200 plays. Thats some money as well. I guess if you think it is easy - then by all means have at it- I have tried to support newcomers and written many posts to that effect. What I am saying is - both of us have made efforts to bring about bets that you wouldn't ordinarily take. Its not taking the hot pitcher each day and its not taking the hot team either. I believe both of us have gone out on a limb. We have performed as well or better than fades, than most services and most cappers around. Show some love- I support you Sandy and have played some of your plays on my system. I tried capping dogs and it is no cupcake. But I have made money on you and on my plays. I just want all of you to know the full story behind newbie capping. Those of you who have supported thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I think a lot of people like to see plus plays put out everyday. Most always play favorites as that is the nature of the vast majority of bettors and hence the books adjust it to the obvious high juice plays.

Taking time to post is VERY time consuming and I know what you mean by that. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR DOGGIES THE REST OF THE WAY AND glad you drilled some nice coin on PITT today!

TONIGHT THOUGH I CAN'T PLAY AGAINST my Twins even though you are right it has a good chance with hot vs. cold:

Santana is light years away from last year as he is not hitting his spots at all. Good 3-0 streak he is on but only going 7 innings and high pitch counts. Blanton though is the WORST of the A's and the only pitcher in July for them that went soimething like winless and a MONSTER HIGH ROAD era! Santanas last 6 games have all gone over including the shutout of the Yankees last outing with the pen giving up 3 runs.

Sandman... I just went back and checked out all your threads... Most of them have over 100 views which are pretty damn good for this part of the baseball season. You gotta remember this is the slow time of the season for this board... I'm sure all those viewers have used your plays. So, when you say you think your wasting your time posting here at this forum is not actually true.. You must be helping out many people on this site...

BTL...couldn't have said it any better... Sandman, i'm not picking on you at all here.. My average also is around 100 hits per post also... Doesn't bother me one bit. If i can help out 1 person, i'm happy.. if i can help out 300 i'm happy. Thats what i'm saying..if you can help out others... why not continue to post?? Same thing with Spearit or anyone else on this forum..
