Hang in there Sandy. I believe more now of what LoveDoc has said. It is a slow time and we both get over a hundred views generally- so maybe we need to equate that instead with support. I again apologize for jumping in here but your thread spoke loud for me as well. If views come so low -maybe -then it is time to go. Winning seems to bring views. Many don't wish to play totals or dogs- it doesn't seem like as high a percentage bet to most- espcially with a Smoltz, Duke , Carpenter, Zito, etc. on the mound.

Thanks for the Love Doc. I believe we are searching for an identity now that we no longer have the main reason why people search this site. Any major loss that a site takes needs to have a surrogate reason for viewers to explore. Sandy - you as well as others make up that loss. Plays not normally seem on any service thread. The Strong Cappers we have here at B/C with a positive unit ranking or percentage will allow more viewers to see what this site is made of. Throw in Rips/Krunch/Truckins views on fades and strong service plays and our dogs and totals and others ideas and plays and we be family.

I don't get it at all ... Do you really want other people to put money on plays that you post??? I would hate to think someone is playing what i am because I am posting them ... and I give a rats behind on how many views I get .. I post cause I enjoy being a part of the forum and I have always done decent in bases ... but do I post hoping someone plays my games .. hell no ...

BTW Sandman, I like Oak also tonight .... Good Luck

I view your comments with disbelief. Its not about wanting others to put money on his plays- its about -does anyone care that he post these plays.
Concerning the views- Being part of a forum.
Some of us work steady jobs -to come home and go thru at least an hour on the computer and then post what we see as having good potential and then sometimes- without some feedback from time to time- we feel who gives a rats ass. You live here Spark- we visit as often as we can.

My dog plays don't get a lot of hits nor a lot replies compared to some of the others here. I do want to tell those of you who wish me good luck all the time, that I appreciate your thoughts. What all this is leading to is that I don't want to do the work of finding and posting plays, if no one is playing them. I'm old enough that I don't need to post my dog plays just to fuel my ego. I'm doing it as a way of paying everyone back for football and basketball plays I follow because baseball is the only sport I feel I'm good at. So, here comes the punch line, if any of you are actually basing some of your plays on my dog plays and would miss them if I stopped posting them, please let me know. But, if you aren't using my plays, please don't say you are, when you aren't. Thanks all.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow but do have one last dog play for tonight.

Spearit.. Please read the 2nd paragraph in his 1st post... Somewhat it is about people putting money on his plays...and the other half is about like what you said if people care that he posts..

who knows, maybe i misunderstood it. But, i still say he should post no matter what

Sorry Spark- I see the part on "if anyone is actually playing my dog plays", after rereading the quote.
I was out of line on that. I see what you mean about the views as well - after I quieted down. I suggest some sort of keeping track with capping on the site - now that services have gone. I mean units won as well. I believe KMann has wanted something similar for some time. Then your record speaks for ya- as well as your units. Yes - It is found on many other sites and several do it here already- it has been a topic with pros and cons - but it gives viewers some sense of index on who they may wish to follow and if they are hot or not. Once again - I apologize for my lashing out at ya. Thanx for keeping me straight Doc.

TO be honest... i've been checking out your plays for the last month or so... I like the idea of playing some dogs, especially after losing some big juice playing favorites... then after seeing how well you've been doing, especially at such a difficult thing to do, i started playing some of your picks about a week ago, with good results.... i can't play you regularly simply because when i work all day i have no internet access.... but your picks do influence my decisions either on who to bet on or to not play a heavy favorite i was considering..... besides, you're a valued member of our family here, your absence would be noticed..... don't forget you really cant escape the amber alert

sandy i know people don't plays all or any of the plays i post on here but i really don't care.if im winning thats all that counts to me,and if i am winning and no one is playing my plays then its their loss not mine.

also i like seeing your dog posts cause i don't really like playing a lot of favorites and sometimes your dog posts and my thoughts are the same and ill feel better about that play a little more than i did before and ill end up playing it.i could never say i play all your dogs but yes i do play several of them and would like to see you keep posting them.

You and i think the same Seao. I feel the exact same way as you do.. The games i post are the games i bet.. If i catch a winning streak i hope everyone that views them is on them as well but we all know that is not true... and if i'm on a losing streak, i hope people are fading me and going the opposite direction.
