Decent Day Yesterday ( and 31-21 for the week )
but ….
So many times in the last few weeks there has been 1 game which stops us from having a monster day. Yesterday our fly in the ointment was Pittsburgh, who miraculously tied their game up in the bottom of the 9th and had a golden opportunity to win it in the 10th , only to lose in the 13th on a 2 run homer by Alex Sanchez, the world famous Joe DiMaggioesque shoe - in future Hall of Famer . " Splinter - Ass " Sanchez closed his good eye , made a pass at a baseball , and then hit The Lottery. Even a congested pig can sniff out a truffle … but it only happens once in a blue moon.
We loosened up the rules this past weekend , played some high line games ,and I know you're wondering about that. There were 2 reasons actually. 1) because we felt a nice run coming on , and 2 ) I get the feeling that most of you are allowed to lay 1 run for much less vig than the standard High Line - Money Line Play.
Please let us know if you are able or not to lay 1 run in high line games. This way we can gear our selections accordingly.
One more note …. Lately our play - on teams have been leaving stranded way too many men on base , especially in the late innings. This trend has got to stop immediately.
It's a new week and greed never takes a day off so Let's Go .
