St. John's has been playing hard, that I can not deprive them of however, knowing that team as I do, they are crushed right now with all the close losses they have gone through this year. The Storm enter this game on a 4 game losing streak and the loss to West Virginia at home the other night was as demoralizing as they come. They fought all the way back from a big deficit, they had the lead with 9 seconds left and they blew it. That followed a tough 2 point loss at Seton Hall. Now let's remember 1 thing here. Yes St. John's has stayed close but against who, West Virgina and Seton Hall? Those teams are awful. Georgetown has been a nice surprise this year and they already beat the Johnies by 9 points earlier in the year. The Hoyas are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games, they are 8-4 in Conference play compared to the 2-10 mark St. John's boasts and they aren't a bad road team. Bottom line is they are a much better team than St. John's and with no postseason play for the Storm this year, a 4 game losing streak and 2 straight losses by a total of 3 points, you have to wonder about the mindset of the St. John's players right now. Take Georgetown to win by a minimum of 10 in this one.

Let's finish off the day with Fordham as they will plaster Rhode Island just like everyone else has this year. The Rams are just an awful team as they come in at 4-18 and in the midst of a 7 game losing streak that will not end today. Not only can this team not win a game, they can't cover one either as they are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 as well. Let's also remember that they are 1-10 on the road this year. Fordham beat this team by 14 on the road. They should have no trouble beating them by at least that much at home. Half the Rhode Island team is injured and they have absolutely no shot at keeping this one close today. Take Fordham to win big.
