Does this mean we need to load up on the Jets? Line started at 5.5 and is at 7 and growing.

I agree, I actually like taking any home/or road dog where the line opened up at +1, +2.5, +5.5. Also like +9.5 dogs. Favorites I like at -3.5, -4, -7.5, and -11.5 especially if the line goes down. This week I like Seattle now at -3.5, Denver at +9.5, and Minny at +5.5. Especially if the public is on the otherside. Also watch the moneylines too. When you see a low moneyline for the underdog in comparison with the spread, the underdog usually wins outright.

Public on a Dog = Cash! Take the Seahawks to the winners circle.

          Great Thread!

I couldn't agree with you more regarding injuries to QBs and team stars. Teams rise to the occasion when their star player is injured. Plus we get great value because Vegas adjusts the lines.

Start playing against the team after 3 or 4 games. Long term is when the effect have missing ones star takes its toll. A good example is the Indiana Pacers. They coverd their first 3 games after all the suspensions. After that is when they went in the shitter.

We should start posting the plays, when someone gets the lines and the unranked home team is the favorite over a ranked opponent. Just title it something like unranked home favorite Weber St -3 over ranked Duke. Just make the forum aware this is a bet on situation.

Excellent idea. I was thinking the same thing because I've always known that this was a good percentage play but never thougt it was 67% over six years! Let's see what we have tomorrow.

Blake great post I read this and was thinking about what my local said to me years ago you lessons in sports investing or expensive and learned every year. I have been playing with him and even backing him way back when for a long time and come a long way. These are very good points to learn print these an aways look before you play and you will be a better player, also never bet into a 2-3 point line move no matter what. Ie Ducks vs Ucla. Also in nfl home dogs not this year but it will come back. Lines that dont make sense Ie Dolphins Rams this year at Dolphins easy winner.

                              11. Never pay money to a service (this is just a waste)

Not only do services suck they give lots of false inaccurate info. This is Big Al's reasoning on this Utah Jazz selection last night:

Reason: At 8:35 pm, our selection is on the Utah Jazz, as we will play on Jerry Sloan's crew to snap its 11-game losing streak tonight, and look for a resounding win by Utah. And there's great technical support for the Jazz, as teams on an 11-game or greater losing streak are 102-58 ATS if the line is 4 points or more, and our team on the long losing streak is rested. And we can improve our 102-58 number to an even better 37-15 ATS (71%) if our team is matched up against a below-average foe with a win percentage less than .467. Take the Jazz. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my NFL Game of the Month and a 2nd NFL winner that's out of a 100% perfect ATS situation.

The problem with his reasoning? Utah isn't on an 11 game losing streak. Going into last nights game they were on an 7 game losing streak. Folks this was Big Al's GOW. He's selling it giving inaccurate info.

AVOID ALL SERVICES LIKE THE PLAGUE
