Server Downtime

I got cable modem and I could never get on today between 1220 and 100...no need if can't use on sundays and weekend, lurkers must go...this is terrible and happens every year...

1st of all i'm a gamer (PC gamer)

I'm on cable and i built my own PC, i need the fastest connection available so i know it's not my PC or connection (Adelphia High speed)

Hey, I just got on!! Just in time for the first games-NOT.

1. Make people register and contribute or gone.
2. Eliminate sports services after 10:30 until kickoff. If someone wants a service they should know before then.
3. I am willing to spend money to get on BC, but am not willing to spend hours trying to get on.

Bettors, it is definitely on your end... I could not get in for an hour today using 3 different computers... check my IP's and you will see I use 3 computers at times if I am at work... we have T-1 and top of the line equiptment.... Only giving you info .....

THICK, there is no way in hell you should be charged a dime... if anyone has a report like yours and wants to post it should easily get a free card....

I voted #1. I think trying it to see how it goes would be best. If decided a fee should be charged...I wouldn't mind, taking in to account membership date and posts. The only problem I have with the fees is that for 2 years I sent monte my consensus plays and did not renew it this year. This by far is the best site around. Thanks to the guys who are part of it.

My take on the matter is this.Last season i netted 20K which was my best and by far the biggest take(in football) in the almost 30 years i have been wagering.My unorthodox capping methods r as follows;gut instinct,following all the great cappers here(gamblers talk/bettors chat),services,my own capping.With that said these sites are a very valuable asset to all that gamble.The ultimate goal is to win money(besides the RUSH!!)so whatever it takes we should all go along with it even if it means giving up a few bucks.If u got money to gamble u got money to contribute here(with out crying about it).I have lurked on many sites and these r by far the best all around sites so I will support any decision that is made and everybody else should do the same!!!

YESTERDAY NO PROBLEM TODAY HAD A HELL OF A TIME GETTING ON HERE. I AM HOPING IT IS JUST BECAUSE IT IS THE FIRST WEEK OF THE SEASON. I THINK IT SHOUL BE FOR MEMBERS ONLY.

I have a cable modem and could not access site from 11:30am to after 1:00pm. Another site I visit also had the same problem. I think the only real solution is upgrade or add another server. If you do not the problem will persist no matter what you do. If you make it manditory to register(which I am for) the guest will simply do that to get access. Will change nothing.

I could get in but it said your server was having problems..so not a white screen, I could get in but not have it work.

I say what others have and what I said above.. If you have a service available have a login just for that..people would likely pay 100 bucks a season to have access to a full service list and a chatboard to talk about it..if not then they should register and be a full member. I am not sure there is a need to pay for regular members..there are other revenue streams that those who arent a part of the problem shouldnt need to pay to participate.

Answer is yes---different to the point that this is the one I want to belong to...Thus I joined...

Another suggestion: Start a payoff pool, ??? per entrant, and pay out 1/2 the monies collected...Do this weekly...It'll add up...We did this at our office, and built up a good Christmas party fund...

I've gotten spoiled here, made some extremely good friends, had some good differences, read some BS, put out some, picked up good info, and despite my terrible record---managed to make money....I ask you this---where else can you get all this from the enjoyment of your own home/office, or you could be out somewhere pissing off your money on other things...Lets all jump in and help..

Whatever figure you come out with---count me in as at least 1 person to put up $....kmann-aka--Kaptain TOF...

BC makes money on this site, as do his advertisers. With all the clicks being members or guests, they are clicks, that's what pays the bills. I think the question should be to BC.

suggestion- make the service plays thread viewable to members only and like someone stated earlier make sign up for membershiplimited to weekdays

i did notice yesterday there was over 600 guests at one point with most in the service thread
