Server Downtime

how many of you had problems logging on here today??

The problem is too many people on the site again.

Too many of you come and don't contribute so I may have to do 2 things.

1. Close the forum for only registered members, however people will register etc. May have to look at the option of not allowing registration during peak hours.

2. Get another server for load balancing which will cost some coin again.

3. Cut down on the free service play postings

Any suggestion ideas?

I know I'll get a lot of shit for this statement but, maybe you can add another server and have a small annual fee for site access

I don't agree with the fee for accessing.

I previously belonged to 3 other sites that used
bashing/site slowdown/etc excuse for going pay and
I just moved on. Where they used to have a lot
of members/guests they now more or less have a
small core that talk to each other.

this is the best board i've found and would hate to
see it go that route.

I agree and if someone had to be banned etc., they would bitch and want their money back and so on.

I don't think the lurkers add a thing anyway do they?......... NO!

Make them sign up and if they all do then we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

I have a cable connection and it was very slow during peak hours!
