    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday's Top 25 NCAAB cheat sheet: Late games
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TCU Horned Frogs at Kansas Jayhawks (-24)

Kyan Anderson continues to be the bright spot in the Horned Frogs' struggling offense, averaging a team-high 16.3 points after scoring at least 20 points in four of his last six games. Amric Fields has scored in double figures in 13 of his 16 appearances and averages 13.6 points and 6.1 rebounds. The Horned Frogs are ranked last in the Big 12 in scoring, field-goal percentage and rebounding.

Freshman Andrew Wiggins leads the first-place Jayhawks with 16 points and Perry Ellis adds 13.2 points and 6.8 rebounds. Ellis has had two double-doubles in the past three games for Kansas, which is 9-2 at home. Joel Embiid averages 10.7 points, a team-high 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 22.3 minutes but has been limited to 7.5 points in 17.3 minutes the past three games.

    TRENDS

    * Horned Frogs are 7-20 ATS in their last 27 games vs. Big 12 opponents.
    * Jayhawks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games vs. teams with losing records.
    * Under is 4-0 in TCU's last four games following an ATS loss.
    * Over is 8-0 in Kansas' last eight Saturday games.

Maryland Terrapins at Duke Blue Devils (-13.5)

The Terrapins put up a fight before fading in the second half of a 61-53 loss at Virginia on Monday, two days after putting up 83 points on one of the best defensive teams in the ACC in a win over Florida State. Seth Allen went for a career-high 32 points in the victory over the Seminoles and had 15 against the Cavaliers on 7-of-14 shooting.

The Blue Devils know a few things about getting hot from 3-point range and lead the ACC with a 3-point field-goal percentage of 42. Duke went 11-of-21 from beyond the arc in last Saturday’s 89-68 win at Boston College but freshman Jabari Parker did not need any 3-pointers to post season highs of 29 points and 16 rebounds. Parker has 21 or more points in three of the last four contests.

    TRENDS

    * Terrapins are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games.
    * Blue Devils are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games.
    * Under is 4-0 in Maryland's last four road games.
    * Favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.

West Virginia Mountaineers at Texas Longhorns (-6)

West Virginia's Juwan Staten scored 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting but the rest of the team struggled to 30.9 percent shooting in the loss to Texas, with Terry Henderson and Eron Harris combining to go 1-of-13 from 3-point range. Staten’s 19 points against Iowa State snapped a string of three straight games reaching at least 20. He had 23 in the first meeting with Texas.

The Longhorns were missing leading scorer Jonathan Holmes on Tuesday but Javan Felix picked up the slack with 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including 6-of-8 from beyond the arc. The sophomore guard was 6-of-24 from 3-point range over his previous five games but got help from a sagging defense and confidence from his teammates. Texas suffered a 57-53 overtime loss at home to West Virginia last season.

    TRENDS

    * Mountaineers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win.
    * Longhorns are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 Saturday games.
    * Over is 4-0 in West Virginia's last four games.
    * Over is 13-6 in Texas' last 19 games vs. the Big 12.

Ohio State Buckeyes at Illinois Fighting Illini (+4.5)

The Buckeyes allowed 70 or more points for only the fourth time this season against Michigan to stall their momentumt. Ross leads the team in scoring (14.6), followed by Lenzell Smith Jr. (12) while point guard Aaron Craft stirs the pot for the Ohio State, averaging 9.3 points, 4.7 assists and 2.5 steals. Ohio State C Amir Williams leads the league in field goal percentage at 61.8 and paces the Buckeyes in rebounding (6.2).

Guard Rayvonte Rice has been a bright spot during a rough stretch for the Fighting Illini, reaching 20 points in three of the last five games while leading the team in scoring (16.8) and rebounding (six) at 6-4. Illinois’ only win during its slump came Feb. 9 at Penn State, but followed that up with a 67-58 loss at Nebraska on Wednesday. Joseph Bertrand, 2-of-8 shooting the last two games, had 19 points against Ohio State

    TRENDS

    * Buckeyes are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games.
    * Fighting Illini are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games.
    * Under is 7-1 in Ohio State's last eight games following an ATS loss.
    * Home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings.

Loyola Marymount Lions at Gonzaga Bulldogs (-17.5)

The Lions opened West Coast Conference play with consecutive victories but have since dropped 11 of 12, including a 10-point decision to the visiting Bulldogs on Jan. 18. Anthony Ireland leads the team in points (18.4) and assists (5.5) but is just 15-for-44 from the field over his last three games and is shooting just over 30 percent from 3-point range for the season.

Gonzaga bounced back nicely from a six-point loss at Memphis, shooting 52.5 percent while placing four players in double figures en route to a 15-point victory over Pepperdine. Junior guard Kevin Pangos paces the team in scoring at 15.1 points per game, but had averaged just 8.3 over a four-game stretch before breaking out with 18 against the Waves.

    TRENDS

    * Lions are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games.
    * Bulldogs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
    * Under is 9-1 in Loyola Marymount's last 10 games vs. teams with winning records.
    * Under is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings.

Air Force Falcons at San Diego State Aztecs (-17.5)

The Falcons held San Jose State to 30.2 percent shooting Wednesday and edged the Spartans 51-48 for their first victory in nearly a month. Leading scorer Tre' Coggins returned to the starting lineup for the first time since serving a three-game suspension and finished with three points on 1-of-12 shooting. Coggins averages 16.8 points while shooting 47.1 percent from the field.

The Aztecs’ dynamic frontcourt has become even stronger in recent weeks with the emergence of forward Dwayne Polee II, who made three 3-pointers and scored 15 points against Wyoming. Polee was one of the few bright spots against the Cowboys, whose zone defense frustrated Thames and forced 13 turnovers. San Diego State has won 10 of the last 12 games against Air Force.

    TRENDS

    * Falcons are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games.
    * Aztecs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games.
    * Under is 13-3 in San Diego State's last 16 home games.
    * Home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings.

Florida Gators at Kentucky Wildcats (-2)

Florida enters this game on a 16-game winning streak. Patric Young will move into a tie for eighth for the most games played at Florida (136) when he takes the floor against Kentucky. The Gators will be trying to snap an opponent's home-winning streak of at least 20 games for the second time this season after ending Arkansas’ 25-game streak with an overtime win Jan. 14.

Many expected Willie Cauley-Stein to continue in his starting role after he took over for Noel following his injury last season, but Johnson stole the job in the preseason and the 7-foot Cauley-Stein hasn’t done much to prove he belongs with the starting five. Cauley-Stein has been held to single digits in eight of the last nine games, scoring three points or fewer in five of those contests.

    TRENDS

    * Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
    * Under is 10-2 in Gators' last 12 Saturday games.
    * Under is 4-1-1 in Kentucky's last six Saturday games.
    * Under is 5-1 in the last six meetings.

NCAA: Five teams that need to impress Saturday
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With time running out in the NCAA basketball regular season, it is another crucial weekend for schools on the bubble looking to impress the tournament selection committee.

We look at the Top 5 games featuring teams that need to impress this Saturday.

      Clemson (15-8)

Line: +4.5 at home versus Virginia

With an ACC win over Duke under their belt Clemson have earned their way into the discussion as teams on the bubble, but back-to-back losses to Syracuse and Notre Dame, as well as a recent 19 point defeat to North Carolina, have weakened the Tigers' resume. Hosting No. 16 Virginia, the Tigers could vault their way back into the tournament field with a signature Saturday win at home.

      Baylor (15-9)

Line: -4.5 at home versus Kansas State

Baylor has fallen off the map during Big 12 play and has just three wins in their last 10 - two of which came against last place TCU. A team that has the talent to get to the tournament, Baylor desperately needs wins to make a tournament case. They can start by improving their position in the conference standings with a win at home over third place Kansas State.

      West Virginia (15-10)

      Line: +6 at Texas

West Virginia looks like it was left for dead at the start of Big 12 play, but Bob Huggins has coached up his Mountaineers into a bubble team. Wins over Oklahoma, Kansas State and Iowa State have West Virginia in fifth place in the conference. Winners of four of their last five, Huggins knows that his team could get themselves a massive win should they find away to knock off No. 19 Texas on the road.

      Washington (14-11)

Line: +1 at home versus Cal

Coming off a much needed win at home against Stanford to end a three game skid, the Huskies 12-2 record at home will be tested against a tough Cal team. With a swing through Oregon to play the Ducks and Beavers on the horizon, C.J. Wilcox and company could start a streak towards the conference tournament with a win. Holding an unspectacular 14-11 record, they won't get to the tournament without a winning streak before March.

      Maryland (14-11)

      Line: +13.5 at Duke

Maryland's biggest problem in the ACC this season has been beating the top tier as the Terrapins have beat enough of the bottom feeders in the conference to hold a .500 record. What they need is a win over a Top 25 team and Duke may be the perfect opponent for them. Maryland has won two straight against the Blue Devils and another win over their rivals would definitely be remembered when it comes time to determine who is on the bubble and who is in the field of 64.

Game of the Day: Florida at Kentucky
        ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Florida Gators at Kentucky Wildcats (-2)

Florida can take a big step toward defending its SEC regular-season title Saturday night when the No. 4 Gators travel to No. 13 Kentucky. Florida heads into the showdown with a two-game lead over the Wildcats with seven games remaining, including a rematch with visiting Kentucky in the regular-season finale March 8. The Gators also remain in position to join the Wildcats as the only teams to finish unbeaten in SEC play.

Kentucky upset the visiting Gators in their last meeting in March, a 61-57 victory that came a month after the Wildcats fell to the host Gators and lost starting center Nerlens Noel to a season-ending knee injury in the process. Florida enters this game on a 16-game winning streak and one of its most valuable players has been point guard Scottie Wilbekin, who won’t light up the stat sheet on the offensive end but is one of the top on-ball defenders in the SEC. Kentucky has won four in a row and can match its longest win streak of the season with another victory

        TV: 9 p.m. ET, ESPN

LINE HISTORY: The Wildcats opened as 2-point home faves.

        POWER RANKINGS: Florida (-17.7) - Kentucky (-13.0) + Home Court (-3.0) = Florida -1.7

INJURY WATCH: Florida - Dillon Graham (Out - hip)

ABOUT FLORIDA (22-2 SU, 10-9-1 ATS, 5-14 O/U): Patric Young will move into a tie for eighth for the most games played at Florida (136) when he takes the floor against Kentucky. He may have made the hustle play of the year in Tuesday’s win at Tennessee, sprinting for a loose ball under his own basket and diving between two opponents before saving it to a teammate just before sliding out of bounds. The 22-year-old Young should be able to take advantage of his matchup against 7-0 freshman Dakari Johnson, who turned 18 in September.

ABOUT KENTUCKY (19-5 SU, 11-9-2 ATS, 8-12 O/U): Many expected Willie Cauley-Stein to continue in his starting role after he took over for Noel following his injury last season, but Johnson stole the job in the preseason and the 7-foot Cauley-Stein hasn’t done much to prove he belongs with the starting five. Cauley-Stein has been held to single digits in eight of the last nine games, scoring three points or less in five of those contests. Wednesday’s game against Auburn was typical of his recent play as he finished with five points and six rebounds in 20 minutes.

        TRENDS:

        * Under is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
        * Under is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Kentucky.
        * Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
        * Under is 8-3 in Gators' last 11 road games.

CONSENSUS: 63 percent of wagers are on Kentucky at -2.

                        • Sunday's Tip Sheet

                          February 15, 2014

The Big East underwent some major changes this past offseason and many college basketball experts questioned just how competitive this former power conference would be after suffering some major defections. This Sunday, we will get a good look at just how strong its top two teams really are when the No. 6 Villanova Wildcats and the No. 18 Creighton Bluejays clash at CenturyLink Center Omaha.

No. 6 Villanova Wildcats vs. No. 18 Creighton Bluejays (FOX Sports 1, 5 p.m.)

The Wildcats come into this matchup with a straight-up record of 22-2. Other than a 78-62 loss to No. 1 Syracuse on Dec. 28 as four-point road underdogs, their only other setback was a 96-68 beatdown at the hands of Creighton as 6 ½-point home favorites on Jan. 20. The total went OVER the 147 ½-point closing line in that game. Revenge may be a motivational factor in this game, but Villanova's current form could be its biggest strength with double-digit victories in its last four outings as part of a six-game winning streak since that ugly loss.

Against the spread, the Wildcats have now covered in nine of their last 11 games and they are a profitable 17-5 ATS on the year. They are 6-3 ATS on the road this season and the total has gone OVER in eight of the nine games. Villanova has covered in eight of 11 conference games with the total going OVER in eight of those contests.

The Wildcats are one of the higher scoring teams in the nation with an average of 80.7 points and they are shooting 46.7 percent from the field. Much of its success can be attributed to the play of James Bell (16 points and 5.9 rebounds) and JayVaughn Pinkston (14.9 points and 5.9 rebounds); however, Darrun Hilliard II remains the team's best pure shooter especially from outside the perimeter with a shooting percentage of 39.8 from two-point range. Villanova is pulling down 37.8 rebounds a game and holding teams to 66.7 points on defense.

Creighton is 10-2 SU in conference play after suffering a few bad setbacks of its own. The first was a 13-point loss to Providence on January 18 as a four-point road favorite followed by last Sunday's 70-65 loss to St. John's as once again a four-point favorite on the road. This past Thursday, the Bluejays squeezed past Butler, 68-63 as eight-point road favorites and they have now failed to cover in their last four games.

Overall, Creighton is 13-9 ATS this season with a 7-4 mark ATS at home. The total has stayed UNDER in its last five games overall, including its last three home games. Against their new conference (after leaving the Missouri Valley Conference), the Bluejays are 6-6 ATS and the total has stayed UNDER in seven of those 12 games.

Wooden Award contender Doug McDermott put up 26 points in Thursday's win over Butler to become the 15th-highest scorer in NCAA history with a total of 2,824 points. He is far from done and obviously expecting another big game this Sunday after scoring 23 points against the Wildcats the first time they met. The big star of that first meeting was Ethan Wragge, who led the Bluejays with nine 3-pointers to account for a game-high 27 points. Creighton matches up well in this showdown with an average of 80 points a game while shooting 48.9 percent from the field. It is shooting 41.8 percent from 3-point range, which is the third-best percentage in the nation. The Bluejays are pulling down 36.4 rebounds a game and holding teams to an average of 65.7 points.

Creighton is favored by 3 ½-points at home to pull off the season sweep against the Wildcats and move into first place in the Big East standings.

The first game between these two was the only meeting in recent history, as the Wildcats are 22-8 ATS in their last 30 games against a team with a SU winning record and the Bluejays are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games following an ATS loss.

                          Bonus Games

Georgetown Hoyas vs. St. John's Red Storm (FOX Sports 1, 7 p.m.)

Something has to give in this matchup with both Georgetown and St. John's knotted at 6-6 SU in Big East play. The Hoyas have extended their current winning streak to four games after losing their previous five contests. They have covered in their last five outings to improve to 12-11 ATS on the year.

The Red Storm started conference play with five straight losses, but since that dismal run they have gone 7-1 SU with a 6-2 mark ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in four of their last six games. St. John's is 10-13 ATS overall that includes a 6-6 ATS record at home.

Head-to-head in this matchup, Georgetown has won seven of the last eight meetings SU including a 77-60 romp as a 7 ½-point home favorite in the first meeting this season on Jan. 4. The Hoyas are 5-1 ATS in the last six contests against the Red Storm and the total has gone OVER in three of the last four. St. John's has been opened as a 4 ½-point favorite for Sunday's game.

Colorado Buffaloes vs. USC Trojans (ESPNU, 8 p.m.)

Colorado is coming off a 92-74 thrashing at the hands of UCLA this past Thursday as a 9 ½-point road underdog. It is now 7-5 SU in the Pac-12 with a 5-7 record ATS. The Buffaloes are 18-7 SU overall with a 13-11 record ATS. They have gone 4-5 ATS on the road this season with the total staying UNDER in five of seven road games with a posted line.

The Trojans find themselves bringing up the rear in the Pac-12 with just one SU victory against 10 losses. Their current losing streak reached five games with a 79-71 loss to Utah as 4 ½-point home underdogs this past Thursday. USC is 9-12-1 ATS this season with a 6-5 ATS record at home. The total has gone OVER in six of its last eight games overall.

The Buffaloes could be without their second-leading rebounder, Wesley Gordon, who is listed as questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury. They have won all three previous meetings since joining the conference in 2011 including an 83-62 romp on Jan. 18 as 11-point home favorites. Colorado is 2-1 ATS in this series and the total has gone OVER in two of the three games. This time around the Buffaloes will go in as three-point road favorites over the Trojans.

                          • Wisconsin at Michigan

Wisconsin Badgers (20-5 SU, 12-12-1 ATS) at Michigan Wolverines (18-6 SU, 12-9 ATS)

                            Sportsbook.ag Line & Total: Michigan -4 ½, 137 ½

Two of the best teams in the Big Ten due battle on Sunday as No. 21 Wisconsin visits No. 15 Michigan.

The Badgers and Wolverines played in Madison on January 18, and it was Michigan stealing a rare road victory against Wisconsin, winning 77-70. In that game, SG Nik Stauskas scored 23 points as Michigan was able to win in this series for just the second time in 14 tries (6-8 ATS). The Wolverines connected on 55 percent of their shots that night, while also making 7-of-13 from the three-point line. Michigan (12-9-1 ATS overall, 4-5 ATS on road, 8-4 ATS in Big Ten) has been on a tear as of late, winning 12 of its past 14 games (9-4-1 ATS).

The Badgers appear to have gotten things rolling again with three straight wins following a stretch of five losses in six games. Wisconsin (11-12-2 ATS, 5-8-1 ATS at home, 4-7 ATS in Big Ten) has done a very good job against ranked teams this season, going 4-1 with the lone loss being a one-point defeat to Ohio State on Feb. 1. In Wisconsin’s most recent victory over Minnesota on Thursday, the Badgers went 30-of-36 from the free throw line. Bo Ryan has as much offensive talent as he has had in recent memory, but his club must become better at sharing the ball with each other. The Badgers had only eight assists on 21 field goals on Thursday, as they try and go one-on-one too much. While it worked against Minnesota, the Michigan defense will not be that easy to score on.

The Badgers enter Sunday's game ranked 124th in the nation in scoring (73.0 PPG), 248th in assists (11.9 APG) and 268th in rebounding (33.2 RPG). But they still rank second in the nation in turnovers (8.6 per game) and limit opponents to a mere 53.0 PPG on 42.3% FG and 32.8% threes. Wisconsin has a balanced offensive attack, as four players average double-figures in scoring.

SF Sam Dekker (13.4 PPG, 47% FG, 6.0 RPG), SG Ben Brust (13.2 PPG, 40% threes, 4.7 RPG), C Frank Kaminsky (12.5 PPG, 41% threes, 6.0 RPG) and PG Traevon Jackson (10.7 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 3.9 APG) all are capable players that can contribute in many different ways. Dekker is one of the most difficult matchups in the Big Ten. At 6-foot-7, the small forward can score off the bounce, but will take a smaller defender in the post.

As a team, the Badgers shoot 37.1% from the three-point line. SG Josh Gasser (8.7 PPG, 4.0 RPG) is the best long-range shooter on the team (42% threes), and is just another shooter that the Wolverines will have to worry about. This starting five scored 63 of the 70 points when these teams met on Jan. 18 with Gasser scoring 16 points (4-of-5 threes), Brust and Kaminsky netting 14, Dekker posting a double-double of 10 points and 10 boards and Jackson shooting poorly (3-of-11 FG), but still contributing seven points, five assists and three rebounds.

Michigan has 75.5 PPG (78th in Div. I) this season, shooting the ball at a 48.2% FG clip (20th in nation). This club is one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country, hitting at a rate of 39.3% (26th in Div. I). However, like Wisconsin, it has really struggled on the glass (33.0 RPG, 274th in nation).

A big portion of that is because of the injury to PF Mitch McGary (8.3 RPG), who was lost for the season with a back injury. Although the Wolverines don’t generate many blocks (2.8 BPG, 270th in Div. I) or steals (5.4 SPG, 265th in nation), they allow just 64.4 PPG (46th in Div. I) on 43.5% FG and 33.0% threes. SG Nik Stauskas (16.9 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 3.5 APG) has gone from talented role player to a guy that is capable of leading a team. He is still a devastating three-point shooter (45% threes), but he is also able to get to the rim and finish. That versatility in his offensive arsenal has made him extremely difficult to stop.

With PF Glenn Robinson III (12.9 PPG, 4.3 RPG) and SG Caris LeVert (12.5 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 2.8 APG), Michigan has a trio of scorers extremely tough to contend with. Robinson scored 14 points (6-of-8 FG), but had zero rebounds in 31 minutes in last month's win in Madison, while LeVert piled up 20 points, seven boards, four assists and four steals in that victory.

PG Derrick Walton Jr. (8.8 PPG, 3.0 APG, 2.7 RPG) is continuing to improve as a freshman point guard. He is shooting 41% from the three-point line, making defenses have to respect him from the outside. He is tremendous off the bounce, where he is able to finish at the rim, or hit the open guy for the perimeter shot. Both of these teams are able to knock it down from deep, but this game will come down to which one of these poor rebounding teams can take control on the glass.

                            • Armadillo: Sunday's List of 13: Wrapping up a sports Saturday......

                              13) Olympic hockey does shootouts differently than NHL, letting same shooter go multiple times, once three players have gone, where in the NHL, each player is only allowed to shoot once.

Like the NHL system better, makes it more of a team game and puts strategy into the coach's decisions as to who shoots when.

                              12) Florida 69, Kentucky 59-- Kentucky led 48-47 with 8:14 left, when the ref gave John Calipari a technical foul-- Wildcats never led again, as Florida wins at Tennessee/Kentucky in same week. That doesn't happen much.

                              11) Syracuse 56, NC State 55-- Wolfpack gagged this game away, getting trapped in corner twice in last minute when they had ball and the lead. This was 7th time this season Syracuse has been tied/trailed in last 5:00, but they are still unbeaten, with a trip to Duke coming up Saturday.

                              10) Wyoming 46, San Jose State 38-- Spartans were outscored 20-9 in the second half, which may help explain why they're 0-13 in Mountain West. Not sure why Wyoming has turned into a slowball team, but they have-- it takes a little more effort to go to their home games in Laramie, not sure fans are going to want to drive thru winter weather to watch 46-38 games.

                              9) Yale 66, Princeton 65 ot-- Bulldogs were down 11 at half, rallied to win and stay tied for Ivy lead with Harvard at 7-1. No conference tournament in Ivy League and Yale already beat Crimson once-- rematch is at Yale.

                              8) Purdue 82, Indiana 64-- Wheels have fallen off for Hoosiers, who had a sub arrested for DUI late in week; they've lost six of last eight games, are 0-4 in last four games on the road- they host Iowa next.

                              7) ESPN's Joe Lunardi does good work with projecting who will be in the NCAA tournament, but ESPN uses his stuff way too much, like his word is official or something. "Oh, if BYU wins here, they'll be in the field of 68".

Please stop. Don't need this during every TV game for the next month.

                              6) Recruiting rankings aren't worth the paper they're written on; during the K-State-Baylor game, kid on Kansas State stole the ball and dunked in traffic, and the TV analyst yells about how coaches need to go out and see kids play, since this player was only a three-star recruit.

Recruiting analysts can't possibly see every player enough to make sound judgments on those kids. Players slip through the cracks, and sharp coaches find those kids, develop their skills and win a lot of games.

                              5) Matt Garza took $2M less to sign with Milwaukee than the Angels, and that seems odd, unless he doesn't want to face the DH. You'd think Angels have a better chance to be contenders than the Brewers do.

                              4) Arizona State's students need some lessons on how to act at games; couple of them spit on Oregon's coaches last week, one threw a cardboard cutout on the court Friday night after a shaky call by the refs, then 1,000 of them rushed the court when they upset Arizona, only there was still 0:00.5 left to play and they could've (but didn't) get a technical foul. Oy.

                              3) Certain things are amusing, others are funny, some are really funny, then there is the thing on my tax return that asks if I'd like to contribute $3 to the Presidential election campaign funds. Um, no thanks.

                              2) Upset of Day: Reggie Theus' Cal-Northridge Matadors (+13) won 80-78 in OT at Santa Barbara, Matadors' 4th OT game in their last six.

                              1) Bad Beat of the Day-- Kansas State (+4.5) had Baylor beat in regulation, but Bears hit a desperation trey at buzzer to send game to OT, then won by 14 in second overtime. If you had K-State in this game, it was a bitter loss.
Remember the 3 G's Gambling, Golf, Girls not in any particular order.....
