It reached 190 at a few places

I don't want to get involved in this, but imo all of this stuff about traps and on the other hand linemaker mistakes can be reduced to about a 50-50 deal.
If one person bets one side of a game thinking there is a trap line involved and his side wins, he can proclaim he was right.
If someone else bets the other side of the game because he liked the bargain line and it wins, he can say it was a linemaker mistake-imo it is that simple.

Understood, so it was close to the -200 you were looking for. Why then is the line "Fishy"? Wouldn't -120 have been the fishy line?

I agree 1000% savage. I really don't care what lines are but when somebody else mentions it, I looked too and I thought it was pretty much what I figured it would be.

Yeah Wayne-over the many years I have heard the word "trap" especially used way too many times, like there is some psychic linemaker in Vegas who knows who is going to win for sure.
Don't get me wrong you,I and everyone else have made bets on juicy looking lines which lose, but we have also made bets which look like great lines with value(linemaker mistakes) which win.
ps I agree with you about what you said about the Cincy line today.
From my perspective and to play Devils Advocate and no offense to Cashmoney, but in this case if I wanted to use that line of thinking(sucker line),I would say that if anything based on the line in this game, that the sucker play was Milwaukee.
In all fairness yeah I should have said this before the game started, but my judgment of the game before it started was that that the line if anything was a bit higher than it should have been based on the fact the Cincy hasn't been playing that well the last few days and had already lost the first two games of this series.
I didn't bet the game for the record.
              All of this obviously jnho.

To be fair, I do believe at times that when some real sharp big money comes in on a game in any sport from folks who habitually win, that there is reverse line movement by Vegas and the Offshores to get more action on the other side, the former figuring that it is more likely that the sharper money will win than the folks who bet the other side; thus the line is adjusted in such a way as to try to get more action on what is most likely deemed to be the losing side.

I still liked the thinking on the brewer play, don't care if the thinking made sense or not, made sense to me. Haha
