Cash, JC, you may be 100% right with this one but help us rookies out. What stinks with this line? On paper Cincy has the better pitcher and they are the better team. They should be a big favorite and they are. It's not like the Brewers are going to be +200 or something. Not at home and with Braun back and not with a good, not great pitcher for Cincy on the mound. I think the line itself looks right on the money.

If the line was -110 or -120, then I would think it was really fishy. It isn't though. I don't get it I guess, win or lose!

Wayne ill tell you why it looked fishy to me because the line -170 looks like they wanted you to load up on Cincy like it was a free winner and with Milwaukee putting a guy on the mound who gave up 9 runs in six innings looked like they really wanted you to pound Cincy!! Not the fishiest line in the world but it looked a little to easy just to bet the big favored!!! Will see what happens Cincy is up at the moment but still long game!! I could easily be very wrong about this and I agree about the line being -110 -120 would look very fishy as well!!! I have never seen a line @-170 that makes me want to "Load Up". If anything, it scares me because it is a ton to risk on the road. I would have wanted to load up if Cincy was -110 or -120. That's when I would have wanted to load up. It is also when I would have hesitated because of the "Bait" line as well. That's just me I guess.

His era is based on a few innings though jc, not the whole season, and with Braun back and Milwaukee at home, there is no way that line would ever reach -200. Maybe if Verlander or King Felix was pitching for Cincy but not Mike Leake. JMO

Leake has only been a favorite of -160 or more twice this season in 17 starts. He was -200 @ Home vs Seattle and -180 on the road @ Miami. Most of his games are around -120 so this line (If Anything) made me think they were begging for Milwaukee money. Just different views on it I guess but it's fun to talk about!
