I just love Russell Wilson as a QB. I have watched him play many times and he is fun to watch. The Big East was a little down this year IMO and i think the wrong team is favored. Coach O'Brien is (7-1) Ats in Bowl games and that tells me he will have his team prepared. NC State has scored 27 or more points in every game but one this season. The Mountaineers never gave up more than 21 all year. I think that changes tonight because they have not faced a QB like Wilson yet this season. The Mountaineers are (2-6) Ats in their last 8 Bowl games and (4-12) Ats in their last 16 vs the ACC. The Wolfpack are (22-8) Ats in their last 30 as a dog and (4-1) Ats in their last 5 Bowl games. Go State!

Missouri vs Iowa (@ Tempe, Az)

Not even messing with the -2.5 points here when i can get the ML at -135. Hey, there is no ignoring the elephant in the room here and that is the 2 suspended stars for Iowa in starting RB Adam Robinson, a guy who leads the team in rushing yards and TD's scored, and starting WR Derrell Johnson-Koulianos, the All Time leading receiver in Iowa history and 2nd leading player on the team in TD's scored this season. I think Stanzi will struggle to put points on the board versus what i think is the best Missouri defense in years. On offense, i like my chances with Blaine Gabbert. He will pick you apart and he should do more than enough to win a duel with Stanzi and that depleted Iowa offense.

East Carolina vs Maryland (@ Washington, D.C.)

Line players will be all over ECU in this one. I understand why they are and that is why i teased it. We can both win. I just have trouble backing a ECU team that backed in to a Bowl going (1-4) SU in their last 5 and giving up 55 ppg in that span. Yes, 55 points per game. There are horrible defense's and ECU is a step below that (Ranked 120 out of 120 in the Nation). I think a Terp team that went (3-2) SU to end the season and scored 36 ppg in that span can take advantage of that. Now, with that said, this ECU team can light up the scoreboard and no matter how many points they give up, their offense may still have them close in the end. They average 38 ppg on offense. I don't think points will be a problem in this one. It is virtually a Home game for Maryland and i think they play a pretty inspired game for the outgoing coach here.

kb, Okie St looks GREAT on paper. Something is seriously fishy with that line though. Okie St opens a -6.5 favorite and the line has dropped like a rock down to -4.5/-5 .... with almost a whopping 80% of the public playing Okie St??? Every little guy out there is hitting the Cowboys but the big mother f'ers are pounding AU. Why? I'm not sure but i'm playing the line more than anything else in this one because it stinks out loud!

Army vs SMU (@ Dallas, Tx)

I just can't pass on SMU here when they are playing on their Home field. It has to be a huge comfort factor and the crowd will be behind them. This will be a big line play on Army here and i'm teasing it for that reason. The line has dropped a point since it opened, yet almost 70% of the public is on SMU? The line says play Army but i just can't do it in this spot. They really havn't beaten anybody to this point. Army won 6 games and not one was against a team with a .500 or better record. The 6 wins came against teams that were a combined (20-51) this season. They were (0-4) vs Bowl teams losing by an average of 15 ppg and none of those were true road games. I think Army is just a little overmatched in this game.
