Tebow Skips Senior Season, Ascends Directly Into Heaven

MIAMI (SP) -- Shortly after leading the Florida Gators to a national
championship with a 24-14 win over Oklahoma, junior quarterback Tim
Tebow announced that he would skip his senior season and ascend
    directly into heaven.

Tebow entered the press room to wild applause. A reporter for a 24-
hour cable sports network burst into tears when the 2007 Heisman
winner entered the room. Another threw a pair of boxer shorts on the
podium. Tebow smiled at the gesture and several sports reporters
    fainted.

"Sorry I'm late," Tebow began. "There was a six-year-old boy with
cancer in row 54 and I had to make my way through the crowd to heal
    him."

"I want to start by saying that playing quarterback for the University
of Florida, winning two national championships, has been a great
honor. There has been some speculation about my future and I want to
clear that up right now," he continued.

"Don't go, Tim!" a reporter shouted from the back of the room.

"After much consideration, I have decided to skip my senior season at
the University of Florida and ascend directly into Heaven," Tebow
announced. Upon making the announcement, Tebow was bathed in a
    blinding white light and vanished.

In response to the news, ESPN announced they will have a month-long
tribute to Tebow. ESPN2 will now be known as ESPN-TEBOW and will
feature Tebow highlights (including home videos of Tebow's childhood),
re-airings of past interviews, Tebow-centric analysis by ESPN air
personalities, a Tebow quiz show and a reality show to find the "most
    Tebow-like" person in America.

"He wasn't just the greatest player in college football history," said
a college football writer at the press conference, tears streaming
down his face. "He might have been the greatest person to ever walk on
    earth."

It is a pretty easy schedule, but dont' sleep on Ole Miss, they are returning almost all their pieces.

I didn't think there was any way Georgia had played 103 games to Oklahoma's 91 either.

However, If you look at the wins column, this shows Georgia has MORE wins than any team since 2000's

I am not sure any of these are correct...

Shit, from 2000 through 2008 Baylor played 104 games so many on that list can't be correct.

                    For the record:

                    Baylor in the 2000s is 30-74 = 28.8%

I just found this list. Previously I had seen a list that had Georgia with 91 wins, tied with OSU, which is why I posted only Okl, Texas, Boise, and USC with more wins. Looks like I have to had OSU since this list only shows Georgia w/ 90 wins. 'm not sure this list is counting the bowl games though. If not, that would move the Dawgs back to 91 wins, making the previous list accurate.

                      1 Boise State -----0.85217 -- 98-17
                      2 Texas ----------0.84348 -- 97-18
                      3 Oklahoma -------0.84298 --102-19
                      4 Southern Cal ----0.80870 - 93-22
                      5 Ohio State ------0.79825 - 91-23
                      6 Georgia ---------0.77586 - 90-26
                      7 Louisiana State--0.76923 - 90-27
                      8 Virginia Tech ----0.75424 - 89-29

However, If you look at the wins column, this shows Georgia has MORE wins than any team since 2000's

It's intuitively obvious, to the most casual observer, that the #'s shown in the win column for Ga is a typo.....

try using another win column figure, and see if you don't get the exact percentage they show....

I don't agrre with, or verify the accuracy of the Link I just showed.....and my intent was to just show some facts re Ga football team....

go back to the link, and click on Ga.....some pretty good reading, for Ga fans.....or others for that matter....

                          Here's your statement to me.....

See, this is part of the reasons, I don't post here much anymore.....too many things taken out of context, and I am so fvkn tired of senseless arguing....

Don't know why your getting all sensitive on me, Kapt. Never had a beef with you, in fact I don't think I've had one of my 1600 posts in any of your threads, directed to you, or where I've even referred to you. If you need a break, take a break, but don't try to blame your problems on my post. Take care.

I will say that numbers and shit teams have done in the past don't mean shit. It's new teams with new players.Lets all remember that just a few years ago Fulmer had the highest winning percentage of all active coaches. What did that stat 4 years ago do to save his job today.I swear to God these people here in Georgia(maybe not Harold or Mark) still talk abou Herschel Walker in every conversation.Georgia or any other team out there has an advantage this year cause they won alot of games in the past.Once again new players, new team.

Let's try this again....Here's your exact words.....

Not sure the point you were trying to drive home, Kapt. I'm thinking you were trying to show my statement was wrong, and that I was possibly exaggerating Georgia's wins since it has Georgia listed at #9.

and you have the Balls to try and twist what I said not once, but twice....where in the fvk did you derive, this famous statement from.....

If you need a break, take a break, but don't try to blame your problems on my post.

Yeh, you're righ BUSH.....I shouldn't have posted things that I thought would support your statement re Ga.....remember this EINSTEIN.....I'm from Louisiana, and the SEC, and it's always been a known fact, that SEC teams hated playing between the hedges.....why....cause Ga was ALWAYS tough....

Now, go back to the kink I showed, click on Ga, where it shows them winning 12 SEC titles, and the Heisman winners they had, etc etc.....

Now how in the fvk do you derive, I'm firing at you, instead of supporting you with facts re GA....and now, you have the gall, to try and psuh this shit on me, as if I'm having some kind of problems....

well, in a way you're right, this is the kind of problem I do have, is people taking things out of context, twisting em, and then making me the villain.....there's others that'll do that for ya, they don't need your help....

Maybe, maybe, some fvkn day, someone will realize why I'm not posting anymore....this is senseless, and BS.....thrive on it, live it....ADIOS....you take CARE.....
