It shouldn't matter who's the better team "RIGHT NOW". It should be who's the best team for the entire season.

Again college football and their system is a farce. Fans should boycott the sport. Until they do the fans will go through his BS each and every season.

I think it's pretty hard to argue Oklahoma wasn't better the entire season. Oklahoma beat 4 teams ranked in the top 15 of the BCS compared to 1 that Texas beat.

Looks like Oklahoma vs Florida/'Bama Winner in the Championship game huh?

Can you imagine how epic a 4 or 8 team playoff would be with those teams listed? It is sad that each year goes by and it's another year missing out on what would be an epic playoff!

I think Texas still has a chance though. A few different scenario's could happen to help them move up 1 spot after next weekend i think.

But then you got #9 undefeated Boise St griping about how they can't get in the playoff. Where exactly do you cut if off? How can you leave them out?

Hey, 9th is 9th and they are out. It's that simple. Sure, teams will bitch each year, just like teams 66-70 in the March Madness bitch. Who cares, they know top 8 get in and we have our playoff. I'd rather screw the 9th place team instead of the 3rd best. JMO

I hear ya trust me, but it'd be damn hard to leave out an undefeated team over a 1 loss Penn St/USC this year considering how down the Big 11/Pac 10 was this year.

This is a feeble argument against a playoff. There's a huge difference between making an argument for the 9th rank team then having 3 teams deserving a right to play for the championship.

I also believe Boise is 9th for a reason. They played Oregon out of conference and won but that was it. When you don't play in a BCS Conference, you HAVE TO schedule something better than Idaho St, Bowling Green and Southern Miss. One win over a BCS Top 30 team (19th) doesn't cut it. Alot of teams would probably be (12-0) with that schedule.
