#8 Contrarian betting is more or less about wagering on the opposite side of wherever the average, square, is putting their money....
I am definitely a #3 /#4........do too much studying to be anything else....
If there are 60 games in a day, that means there are 30 favorites, if I pick three or 7 of those, does that make me a square, or a damn good capper to find 7 winning favorites....
I call it handicapping......then throw in a few totals, 1 or 2 dogs, and you have one good capper......
Read the above's, and let me know where you think you fit in......I've seen quite a few guys here that play strictly dogs, have never seen one, or one come close to picking all favs....
I know one thing, if betting on Carolina was a square player play, that's what I want to be. Who in their right mind would bet money on the Oakland Raiders. Let alone the Rams and Lions.

Cmon big guy even you know some of the worst teams in the league wll cover the spread more times than not...If I was choosing Carolina ML of course I would be right there with ya....some of the easiest winners I have ever had have been on piece of shit teams covering the points without a problem...

I know, but I think you out thought yourself on that one. It's one thing to just completely fade the public, which IMO doesn't work, it's another to read lines. That line was right on, I don't by into this Vegas wanted you to bet the Panthers. Shit Vegas wants equal betting on both sides, it limits their risk and insures a profit.

The better question I think is who in their right mind would bet on teams having to cover double digit spreads ON THE ROAD on the any given Sunday NFL regularly...

I didnt just fade the public...there were several reasons why I took the Raiders and those several reasons are why I would take them in that spot 100 times over again...it just didnt work out this time and so be it....next time it might...what can you do thats gambling....

It might just be me but I don't think Oakland offers the raiders much of a home field advantage...
