I wouldn't mind Kiffin but it's still to early to tell.ESPN,just so happend to run a story after Obama got elected about the diversity in college coaching after Willingham and Prince were fired. The media and the people will be watching like hawks so I see alot of interviews and different people trying to get the job.I think it's going to take longer because of that.Originally posted by WayneChung View Postvolsfan, lane kiffin.former oakland coach is at the head of the pack and they are also looking at a real good recruiter from michigan i believe, with a name like brahmer, some of you guys from the michigan area may be able to help me with that name ? but this comes from a real good source volsfan, also they are hiring an independent company from colo. to do the footwork on finding the coach so it does not disrupt the rest of the season !!

One of the big draws with Kiffin was the staff that he'll potentially be able to put together. He's talked with his father, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, about joining him at Tennessee. The elder Kiffin is considered one of the foremost defensive minds in football.
Kiffin also has talked to former Mississippi head coach Ed Orgeron about joining his staff in Knoxville. Orgeron currently is an assistant on Sean Payton's New Orleans Saints staff and coached with Kiffin at USC earlier this decade.DON'T YOU EAT THE YELLOW SNOW !!

Anyone on here know how motivated the players are going to be tomorrow to win Fulmer's final game as a coach at Tenny? I heard the players like him and will play hard for him. Outgoing coaches have done well this year. Line has come down from -4 to -3.5Originally posted by WayneChung View PostOne of the big draws with Kiffin was the staff that he'll potentially be able to put together. I think they get it done. When they played Wyoming the news had just came out and the players were upset and pretty much quit. Then they had a week off and it looks like Fulmer did some soul searching inside those guys cause they went to Vandy and won and played well. His last game here in Knoxville on Phil fulmer day will be emotional and I gurantee they will be ready to play. The key to me will be the defense. They played well in alot of the first halfs but was on the field way to much to last 4 quarters. The offense is getting better so I think the defense will play very good today and get will get a couple turnovers for sure.Originally posted by KazDog View PostBump for Vols or anyone else.....
