Dream team would get em but it would be a solid game...Lebron would definitely be the most athletic on the court and with wade on Bird, Kobe on Jordan, and Bron on Magic there would be fireworks!

Probably true, but that doesn't mean he isn't overrated

You guys are kidding right??? The 1st dream team in 92' would be favored by -20 against these overrated players like Kobe wannabe ass. Kobe couldn't hold Jordan's jockstrap.

Well considering Jordan went out balling on Bryon Russell I believe Kobe is quite an upgrade on D.

dream team 8 redeem team 2 tie 2
id prob root for redeem cuz of lebron i cant stand melo or kobe but i think dream team would be better team and magic, bird, and jordan find way to win...i disagree w. stockton, paul right now better than stockton in prime and paul still can get better and right now howard might be a tie w. ewing but if stays healthy he will be better...redeem wouldnt get the turnovers that key their fastbreak and struggle like they do against the other countries that can move ball and shoot plus the BEST clutch player ever is no doubt jordan
edification will take place pull up the reins and get outta the race.

Bryon Russell is a scab player and always was. I do remember Bryon Russell PUNKING Kobe in the Western Finals that Bryon Russell Beat Kobe and the Lakers in order to play Jordan in the Finals. You remember/

Does age make a difference in your mind? Because I think it's important to note that Bird was 36, Magic was 33, Stockton was 31, Drexler was 30, Ewing was 30. Other than Jason Kidd, every player on this year's team is under 30 in their prime or before the prime of their career.

I think it is closer than most think. As ctt stated, many of the dream team guys were on the back end of their career.

I think the biggest difference though is the competition level. The Dream team punked teams when they were still figuring out how to play. Now, these Countries that the redeem team played would put up a much better fight than the teams did in 1992. I think the redeem team would have beat everyone by 40+ too if they played those '92 teams.

Also, if you want to give me the redeem team +20 ..... I'll pound that team 'til the cows come home. I would have trouble picking that spread if the dream team was -3. This redeem team smoked some excellent teams and i think people are simply comparing scores and winning margins but it should go well beyond that seeing how far these other countries have come.

i guess i was looking at it from the stand point of in their collective primes. the dream team was older but remember that was the 1st time pros were allow to play in the olympics for USA.
the 2004 team was a disgrace with similar talent.

Jordan would LOCK DOWN KOBE. Pippen would LOCK DOWN LEBRON. Ewing and Robinson would casturate Dwight Howard and skinny Chris Bosh. Charles Barkley would abuse Teyshaun Prince. You cannot be serious right? The Originals would win 131 to 92. Very similar game to game 6 when Peirce and Garnett abused Kobe this past year.
