Oklahoma may be overrated but Fresno is very overrated. They never even win their own league!

They play a few non-conf games well and always stumble in their own mediocre league. Boise and Hawaii have both been superior programs to fresno and Nevada isn't far off.

As for Oklahoma, their problem is coaching. All of their top assistants have left. When Stoops' brother went to Arizona and the fat guy went to Kansas, they lost a lot of coaching firepower

I have to agree with all of that. From an article on CBS

      Fresno St:

      - Eight bowl games in the past nine years.

      - Second-most wins over BCS conferences this decade than any other non-BCS school with 12.

      - Conference titles this decade ... Zero.
      2012 - 2013 NCAAF

      21 - 20 - 0

      2012 - 2013 NFL

      14 - 10 - 1

OU is 1-4 their last 5 bowl games. Pathetic!

Give Pat Hill those OU players and see if he loses his bowl games.

How am I crying? I'm just bringing to the forefront how ridiculous you look by trying to have this argument with me. Are you mad now and pissed off cause I brought this to light to let others see your lack of knowledge?

To me, Bowl games don't mean shit really. There are 50 of them and a (6-6) record gets you in one of them. If we are talking about BCS Bowl Games, i'll listen!

As far as those others teams yes, it is great. It is also why they will go about (8-3), (9-2) ... because they will lose those games. Smaller schools than Fresno play teams like that all the time Bill. It's nothing new. They do it for one reason, PAYDAY. Fresno is no different!
I am not sure about that, I believe from what I read most of these adds to the schedule have happened within the last 4 years, and Fresno St has gone to bowls (no mater how legitimate) the last 9 years, so I think this is more strengthening of schedule rather then a payday. Fresno is not truly a "smaller' (ie like Chattanooga) school who do it for the pay day, with an enrollment at like 21K (only 7K or so less then Oklahoma). These smaller schools also are always "At" the large schools and never get home and home contracts, but Wisconsin is travelling To Fresno.

            Could be though.

Kaz's claim to fame for Fresno is they win their bowl games...they are 10-7 overall in bowl games in their history. That is fine if he wants to base their success on taking home the Silicon Valley Bowl, MPC Computers, or Humanitarian bowl trophies every year, but I'll take BCS games every year personally.

(6-6) gets you in a Bowl Bill. about Bowl Games unless the letters B, C & S are next to them.

That is why the second stat is interesting:

Second-most wins over BCS conferences this decade than any other non-BCS school with 12.

Once again Kaz is a jackass to compare the two, but Fresno is no Chattanooga

Bill, They are famous in past years of playing the "Bottom Feeders" in power conferences. It is easy to get that stat that way.

2nd most wins doesn't tell me shit. Are they playing the USC's of the world or the Iowa State's?

Why did we have to schedule Rutgers this year?

Maybe that's because they had to fill the hole left by Kansas St when they pussied out of playing Fresno St at HOME this year after they got an ass whipping in Fresno last year.

That would be one of those Big 12 teams you're talking about. Guess we can add Kansas St to the Big 12 teams Fresno St can beat. And, if I remember correctly, that was Fresno St that beat #13 Kansas St at Kansas in 2001, 45-21.

Good for you Kaz. You beat a powerhouse (5-7) Kansas St team at home last year. You should be proud!

                              I agree

I just looked. They lose to the top teams and beat the shitty ones like Kansas St.
